MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE!
As many of you know, I try to run a fun, fair, and informative website. And I welcome all Hockey Fans. Yes, at times, there are "heated" debates that go on among fans from other teams and sometimes from fans from the same team. That's great! That's the spirit of a Message Board. I think I've been pretty fair with everyone regarding letting you post your opinions. But yesterday (1/8/09) this privilege was abused.
I'm not going to list who abused what, but I will say that there are MULTIPLE people who have abused their posting privileges.
I would like to ask EVERYONE to PLEASE follow the following guidelines when offering your opinions in the future:
1) PLEASE refrain from back-and-forth "jabs".
2) PLEASE keep the threads ON TOPIC!!! I know things sway a bit here and there... but PLEASE try to stir the topic of conversation BACK ON TOPIC!!
3) PLEASE respect others OPINIONS! You don't have to AGREE with everything, but you can be respectful and tactful in YOUR OPINION of the topic.
4) PLEASE stop making accusations of things you THINK (or THINK you KNOW "FOR SURE") of "Who is Who". Yes, sometimes it may APPEAR that some Users may "sound" like other Users.. BUT, YOU DON'T KNOW FOR ABSOLUTE CERTAIN. These type accusations just fuel the fire and lead NO WHERE! I'm not saying that there AREN'T people using multiple accounts... I'm sure there are!... But I can't say, "I KNOW So-and-So is So-and-So"... you MAY THINK you know, but you DON'T.
5) PLEASE post topics where they SHOULD go. If it's NOT Cyclones related, then DON'T post it in the Cyclones Forums... PLEASE post it in the PROPER Forum!! If there is not a Forum for what you want to post about, drop me an Email, and maybe I'll create a new one!
I want to thank all those people that "bit their tongues" during yesterday's "festivities" and didn't add MORE fuel to the fire.
And I want to apologize to everyone that had to muddle their way thru the mess.
It's LATE... I'm tired... I'm going to bed now..

| I was one who may have gotten out of hand. I'm sorry, but I felt the need to defend some of the people on this board, especially the women who had been bashed by one particular person. If I offended anyone, I'm sorry, but someone had to say something, and everyone knows I'm NEVER short on words. Jim, thanks for resolving the issue. |

The biggest issue here is that people can't post on the appropriate board... because they want people to see their posts...and people hit up the Cyclones Chatter board more than the others. All the Bulldogs talk should go under Cyclones Alums too but they tend to be posted in Cyclones Chatter.
