| The discussion on the other thread gave me this idea.. Whats the best, or i guess you could say worst, heckle you've seen or took part in? |

I was at this game... and it may not be the BEST but at the time, I was laughing so hard that I just couldn't handle it. I would usually think it's immature and stupid but, when it happened, it made me laugh and I still get a chuckle out of it today.

| thats hilarious!! The one that sticks out in my mind is this.. It was the first game for Elmira back at USBA after they had that bus wreck last year and right before the start of either the 2nd or 3rd period Elmira's coach was on the bench. My friend sitting next to me yells "Hey Steve, are you gonna let Littlejohn drive the bus home again!" It was in bad taste i know but it was so funny i couldnt help but laugh. I thought Steve was going to come over the boards at him. |

As I posted in the other thread, my favorites had to have been dangling handcuffs at an Elmira player (who's name I forget) who had been arrested a few times for beating his wife. Dude went ballistic!! I also loved the reaction I got from Fukifuji when I was yelling F-U (Catubachemae) and YOU SUCK ( Otaku Shaburu) in Japanese. During warm-ups, he turned around and I read his lips. He said WTF? We scored 4 goals in the first period, and then 3 more in the third!
My favorite tho, even tho it got me thrown out, was when Trembley picked a fight with Greg Stewart, got his A$$ beat, and I ventured over to the penalty box to let him know about it. When I did, he squirted water at me. Unfortunately, security thought I was going to go into the box (ala Ty Domie incident) and threw me out, but not until I got to the top of the stairs!!! |

| Its not s heckle but at nashville games they do fang fingers when someone goes into the penalty box and everyone says it and puts their fingers up in a fang motion...Its horrible but really funny to see. |

Mine goes back awayssssssss back in the IHL
days the Cyclones were playing the Mooses and the Goalie
was Johan Hedberg and the Clones were lighting him up
left and right and the whole crowed was chanting
Jooooooooooooooooohan Jooooooooooooooohan hearing
8000+ cheering that was awsome. I think we won that
game like 10-2 but don't remeber the score . |

I remember giving him hell up in Minnesota when I lived up there and the Clones played at the Old Civic Center in St. Paul! Lawless had a hat trick there one night. |

OKAY- so I started a list (not all hockey related) of things that I have experienced throughout the years: in no particular order..
At a UC vs. UCONN Game: I heard UCONN GIRLS ARE HUSKY (which at the time was funny, because UC was losing and it was a guys game)
I've heard about this one a number of times:
Back in the day, when the Islanders-Rangers rivalry meant something, there were rumors in the press of some domestic violence between Rangers defenseman Barry Beck and his wife. Each time the Rangers played at the Coliseum there would be four or five sustained cheers of "Barry Beats His Wife, Barry Beats His Wife, Barry Beats His Wife."
Heard this after a fight "In-Hale, Ex-Hale. In-Hale, Ex-Hale." a fan was standing up and screaming it into the penalty box to the dude that just got his taint handed to him. I thought it was a nice, friendly reminder to breathe given that the guy didn't land a punch.

I've always enjoyed "I'm blind, I'm deaf, I want to be a ref!" (because it works for so many sports) I especially love it when idiots chant it at Baseball games LOL
While in college (at a small D3 school) our basketball team was, to put it nicely, AWFUL. We had to come up with things while playing in pep band in order to enjoy the games. We had an accounting major in the band who was just AMAZING with stats as well... one of the opposing players came into the game shooting 96% from the foul line and averaging 20 ft's a game. We decided to let him know what his percentage was, after he would miss. He would line up to shoot someone would yell, if you miss this your % is going to drop to ____ insert number. As he walked to the locker room at half-time he came over to the band and said some choice words (after going 1-11 from the FT line)
I'm a fan of CLEAN heckling...but watch your heckling, look what could happen to you :)
