| Even with a 6-1-0 record Loic Lacasse is on his way back to cincy. Even though I would have much rather see ceddy back here than Loic |

http://hamiltonbulldogs.com/article/montreal-reassigns-loic-lacasse-to-cincinnati Lacasse, 22, played in eight games with the Bulldogs earning a 6-1-0 record with a 2.07 goals against average and 0.922 save percentage. The native of Granby, Quebec recorded his first-career AHL shutout on January 9th making 22 saves in a 3-0 win over the Lake Erie Monsters before recording his second shutout on January 16th making 28 saves in a 4-0 win also over the Monsters. Montreal's 6th round, 181st selection in the 2004 NHL Entry
Cedric had best play well after the ASG. Lacasse had to open some eyes up in Hamilton with his performance.
Ryan Nie may get door opening responsibilities Friday night despite having won 4 straight. |

Like I said on other posts BP, they've invested too much in Ceddy to send him down here. When they offered him a contract for this season, he knew what his role would be within the organization. God willing, we will never see Ceddy in a Clones uniform again *not that I didn't love him while he was here* The goal is to move up...and sending him here would not benefit the Habs organization.
Loic had a solid stay in Hamilton but they obviously feel he still has some things to work on. I realize STATS wise, he's the best they have had this season but, it could also be a case of, paying too much money to not have the higher paid players playing for you (in some minds of GMs) |

Greetings from Deleware!
Its good to see Gajewski moving up and Lacasse coming back. Perhaps fortunes have changed for both of them!
While I hope Lacasse is the next coming of Patrick Roy I have a feeling his success was due to a quality defense in front of him rather than a sudden increase in skill. Hopefully a few starts here will prove me wrong. |

I look forward to a rotation of Loic and Ryan. If Cedrick shows he's healthy, look for Montreal to move a goalie to fill a needed hole.Denis is too good to waste away in the AHL. |

| Cedric has earned his job in the AHL. As much as I would love to see him playing in Cincinnati I would really hate to see him sent back down. I would much prefer to see him succeed at the AHL and get an NHL opportunity. Keep in mind that we are a development league and his success is our success. |
Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

Agreed that Desjardins has earned his AHL position. From a psychological perspective, Lacasse was probably just thrilled to be in the AHL let alone excel at that level. He had probably prepared himself for a season in Cincinnati in the ECHL. On the other hand, Cedric would have probably been devestated by a send down. I can't imagine that his attitude would have been very good had he been sent here.
Now if Juice performs the equivalent of Lacasse, then either the entire Milwaukee defense ought to be promoted to Nashville or the opposition's shooter ought be plying their trade in Fayetteville, Arkansas in the SPHL

| I think Ceddy may have been able to understand if they sent him down for rehabilitation. I mean it happens so some of the best players, you get hurt, you get sent down for rehab, then you get called back. |

| I would love to see Loic respond here as he did in the AHL, but keep in mind he had a whole different defense in front of him with Hamilton. Let's keep our optimism tempered and not get to high or low on him for a while. |

| Juice had two good games in Johnston but he is not as consistant as the goalies of the past. Every goalie weve had this year hasnt had enough time to show consistance. If Houle and Nie were here together and we would probably be real good |

Montreal has a track record of drafting and producing great goaltenders. Roy, Theodore, Price, now they have Halak, Denis, and Desjardins who are all solid as well. Hopefully they can make a trade for a proven defenseman to fill a void at defense, although getting Vincent Lecavalier would be ok with me too. |
