Tonights game is the annual Pink in the Rink benefit. Does anyone know if the ice is going to be pink again this year? I have not heard. I am trying to talk the wife into going, but she has been very difficult this year due to babies. Hope everyone has fun, and I hope I am succesful in persuading her to go!

We wanted to stay for the auction after the game, but we had a previous commitment (U.C. vs. Xavier in hockey at the gardens). Whose jersey went for the most money?

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Syro's went for $625, I think that was the highest. Twister went for about $500. The lowest went for $300 or more (Lynch, who didn't even play).

There were a few they didn't auction off so I imagine they'll wait to sell them at a later date.

Additionally the guy that won the Salakin jersey ($400) paid for it, looked at it and handed it to a woman he met who was a cancer survivor and walked out. Everyone who was sitting around him just sat there awed. Very generous and inspiring.

We missed the auction too, but I have to say from your post tip, that it was interesting to read.

Impressive, bidding, winning a jersey and giving to a cancer victim. That is so cool, shows us all that there are still people who have a heart out there.

At least there weren't any psycho bidding wars over the jerseys.

Last year I gave alot to charities by purchasing jerseys at auction. You have to donate far more to be able to use the auction as a write off on your taxes I bought over 5 last year and wasn;t even close to being aboe to write off.
