at this point in the season the jackets are closer to the playoffs than they've ever been; sitting in 9th in a clusterf**k of 5 teams with 53pts.
they have found a #1 goalie, but scoring seems to be an issue. i'm pulling for them but i honestly think that if they don't make it all falls on hitchcock because he's still trying to coach the team in a pre-lockout (old rules) manner. yes, defense is important but the modern nhl is about scoring and you can't ask mason to play shutout or 1 goal hockey every night.... |
