With this road trip, I see that we can sweep Mississippi. However, I can only hope we can take 2 from FL. Although they have more points, the Clones have the heart to take them on.

Cyclones hockey. A championship caliber team in a city of losers.

Well---no way they can sweep now, and judging by what I saw on the ice, I am hoping we will be able to get away with 2 of 3 down here in Mississippi. Good effort at the beginning, especially on the power play to jump out to a 2-0 lead, then they let up until the last 10 minutes or so of the 3rd, and by then, Mississippi smelled victory. It was obvious they wanted it more. Their goalie was pretty damn good too! The way Mississippi played, I am surprised they are not higher up in the standings. Then again, we had a whole lot of trouble connecting on passess that usually smack the tape and stick like glue.
Crowd was friendly-one guy came up to me and thanked me for coming down. Never did hook up with RobO. Try again tonight. Anyone know a Cyclones fan who is stationed at Kiesler Airforce Base? He was there in a very old Cyclones jersey, but I never did catch his name.

Heading to New Orleans for the day. Hope they have their "A" game going tonight!
