Ouch, that leaves us a little short on the blueline, eh!
I noticed McElroy hasn't played in a few days up in Milwaukee...wonder if they would send him back if he's able.
Unfortunately I don't see any roster changes (additions) until we get back from Florida. I imagine McLeod or Sproat or someone may play an odd shift or two on D to help us out.
BIB where are you ?!?!?!?!?! |

Barring any additions, the team roster is now down to 13 skaters-3 below the 16 that can be dressed for a game.
Unless Wyman and St. Denis play terribly at Hamilton, I'd venture to say that we are unlikely to see them or anyone from the Canadiens organization for the remainder of the year given the boatload of injuries which have beset both Montreal and Hamilton.
Kilpatrick's and McElroy's recalls may not be long term, but it would sure help if they were returned for the upcoming series. If they're not, then Weber will be forced to sign almost anyone to fill out the roster-at least to 15 skaters. Does Juice perhaps play forward? We know he doesn't really play goalie.
After Van Guilder (who could be recalled at any time), the next leader scorers on the active roster are No Flash Gordon and MacLeod.
And that is very scary. |

Juice probably does play any position as well as he plays Goalie...can't be any worse. Did he even play any games in Milwaukee? |

looks like we'll have the men's league line up this week; 3 lines of forwards and 2 pairs of defensemen. i doubt we'll see them sign anyone while on the road, at least to have them play. luckily, after the trip to florida there is a full week off before the next game, so if help can be found somewhere, they'll have a week to get up to speed....
on a sort of related note, i saw that our good buddy yannick tifu has be reassigned to florida by the albany river rats...gotta love that timing... |

Remember the secret to last year-with no defensemen we used forwards on defense and we ended up with forwards who took care of the puck because they learned the results of turnovers. If Avery is available and the coach is interested-I say go for it. As for Juice, get him some defensemen skates and stick and send him out there. |
