Through the first 26 dates the Cyclones have drawn 76,156 for an average of 2929 per game. Last year throught the same number of dates, the Cyclones had drawn 59,127 for an average of 2274.
This year's numbers are up 28% or 655 per game.
Through the first 6 weekend dates post Jan 1 last year the Cyclones drew 26,834 for an average of 4472. This season's first 6 post Jan 1 weekend dates have drawn 34,658 for an average of 5776.
This represents an increase of 1304 fans per game (29%).
It is very encouraging to see the real attendance grow so dramatically in light of the dour economy. Currently, the Cyclones lead all of minor league hockey in percentage attendance increase this season. Combined with last year's impressive 36.8% increase, the Cyclones have improved attendance from 1844 per game in the first season following the suspension to the current 2929. This represents an increase of 59% which amounts to 1,085 per game.
Our weekend attendance ranks with the best in the league. Our figures are honest as opposed to many other team's figures which are almost comically fraudulent.
This bodes well for the continuation of ECHL hockey in Cincinnati. |

| I did some math regarding the attendance figures yesterday. The Clones only need to draw 14,676 over the final 10 home games in order to meet last year's total attendance numbers. With 4 more weekend home dates, they should surpass that figure (90,832) easily. If they have a really good weekend, they could do it over the span of one weekend. Of course, those weeknight games will have an effect on the overall average, but then again, with Elmira and Johnstown coming in for the weekends and given the state of the North Division race, those games could be huge enough draws to make up for the lesser-attended weeknighters. Either way, things do look good for the team, at least to these completely untrained eyes. |

| I was talking to my ticket rep and he said the organization is putting together a big push to sell out Saturday, April 4th (the last home game before the playoffs-fan appreciation weekend-around 13,000). They will be offering $1.00 hotdogs, pizza, beer, and .50 popcorn. I had 64 in my group last Friday night and told them to reserve me 70 for this night, but am going to try to bring 100. |

| That would be awesome to see. Heck, a 10,000+ crowd for a regular season game would be great. I hope it all comes together for them! |

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 10,000 crowd the final "Fan Appreciation Night" with all of the discounts returning, don't forget last year's was 9000. Or maybe they should forget the discounts and just go back to giving out US Bank Arena water bottles like in 03-04? |

Outstanding group number.
Just out of curiousity, how much do you guys pay per ticket? Do the members of the group get some sort of novelty?
Thanks. |

Thanks. It was my second best (I had a 68 last year). I had a couple previous ones this year, one of 24 and one of around 40. We still pay the $10.00 per ticket. There is no discount on the ticket, but for groups of 30 or more everyone gets a free T-Shirt which is really nice. People in the group seem to love them.

I put in for vacation the last week of the season to ensure my employer couldn't send me out of town that week. I wanted to be sure I made those games.
Hopefully I can take some additional vacation time for playoff road trips. |

,,,team........totals..games..average Mississippi .. 93,116.. 31... 3,004 Phoenix ......88,444.. 30... 2,948 Cincinnati ... 88,217 ..30... 2,941 Next three games are one Wedneday and two Thursdays. With Heckler's blessing-how about a "Heckler From Hell" night. We could have him drop the first puck before the game. Throw in more food discounts like the last night's lineup and we might be able to coax another 2500 plus weekday crowd out.We are so close to the 3,000 average mark,we need to find everyway to reach it.Right now I have four total unused game tickets (two Tuesday snow nights) and I plan to redeem them for a remaing game.If I can't find someone to use them,I will at least redeem them and we will get them counted. The Cyclones DON'T count unused season tickets,so we all need to make them count. It costs NOTHING for the tickets and the average needs them all used. |

| THIS IS AWESOME!!! Can anyone think of the possibilities that the Cyclones have in their Cup defense? And how much of an impact that it's going to ticket sales? I mean, I hate those people who only came to watch us clinch last summer and then went away again, but they helped ensure financial continuity of the team... imagine the cash flow if we go on pace for the repeat |

| Last year I had a few tickets left, and I stood outside and watched for people coming in with kids and gave them to those folks. I plan on doing that again this year. It's better than them going to waste and people seem to appreciate it. Every little thing we do only helps the team. |
