the 7min pk early surely hurt us. from where i sat JJ got slashed, nimmo dropped his gloves, and JJ dropped his. upon realizing who he was squaring off with, nimmo turtled, got punched in the face repeatedly and that was that. i'm a bit confused as to how 1) nimmo can slash JJ and 2) drop his gloves and not receive any type of penalty.
i'm not going to point the finger at pochmara completely, but lets face it, reading is the most penalized team in the division, yet they get out of this game with just 2 PK's, you can't convice me that reading played that clean of a game.
it seems that every year there is one team that gives the 'clones trouble, this year it seems to be reading. reading has improved since the all-star break and it's unfortunate that we have the bulk of our games with them at this point.
if there is one thing that i do know it's that chuck is not complacent. he'll be doing everything he can to light a fire under the guy's asses. with this stretch of 6 games in 9 days i had a feeling we'd drop one, and i'd rather it be to wheeling than elmira, who is in the play off hunt..... |

| I ran into Kilpatrick in concourse between periods....so, he's back but he did say his knee is hurt. Hopefully he will be back soon. We definately could use a little more offense he could provide. |
