Congrats to Loic for his first shut-out of his ECHL career and also to the CLONES for a great turn around from last night. Also great to have Barret back he looked like he felt good tonight.

Lacosse was absolutely awesome tonight! I hope Weber goes with him. You need to play the hot hand. Nothing against Nie because he's been playing great too but Lacasse deserves to keep playing especially after tonight.

Great to see Egho out there tonight!

The team looked more alive for sure.
Consider this 5-0 game an apology for last night, haha.

I believe Mr. Weber lit a fire under his charges' collective behinds!

What a difference a day makes! Tonight everything seemed to work right. Perhaps the return of Barret and Brandon made the difference, I don't know. The offense was strong, the defense good and as stated previously, Loic was outstanding. The PP moved the puck effectively and I really like the twin towers (McKenzie and Syro) clogging up the slot in front of the goaltender.

I hope Loic continues to be outstanding but I'm not ready to annoint him #1. Nie's still the guy in my book. His play on Tuesday was very good when the ice seemed tilted toward him all evening.

Elmira is going to be a tough team to beat. We are going to have to bring our "A" game both nights!

Lastly I believe that fifth goal was for a Mr. Johnson who for some strange reason (I heard he might have hit a turtle...) didn't get to dress tonight. Enjoy that bus ride back to Reading!

i think chuck has a good thing going with the goalies right now. both guys WANT to play and are capable of getting the job done. personally i think loic earned another start tonite...if he continues i'd keep going with him until he falters; just as chuck has done with nie.

tonights game went like i expected. reading played the clutchy, grabby game they're known for and got called for it tonight. i was a bit surprised to see reading go with ouzas over reimer, but i'll take it.

we've got some momentum know...let's ride it through the weekend.....

Great game all around.Loic looks like possibly a goalie we can alternate with.
I say play Nie on Friday and Loic on Saturday. After the sad game on Tuesday, the
real Cyclones came out tonight.Much better passing, more hustle on defense and
still bad referee calls, but the team didn't let it get to them. Time to head
to City BBQ for a brisket sandwich.

Lacasse definitely played his strongest game yet and has improved drastically since the beginning of the year when he was splitting the job with Gajewski. However, I'm still not ready to say I would like them to alternate. In my opinion Nie has been outstanding starting with the second game against Florida on the Southern trip. The guy is 12-3 since joining the team (the third loss being last night's 7 minute penalty kill fiasco). Not taking anything away from Lacasse's excellent game tonight, it is great to see. I just don't think you are going to see those kind of results with him alternating with Nie ... I still say make Nie the number one guy.

They (whoever they are) say that strong goaltending is the key to playoff success. Having two #1's is a huge asset. Lacasse was simply sensational this evening. He gets my nod for Friday night and for however long he stays hot.

How can this team beat anyone 5-0?? Especially when they can't clear the puck out of their own end. Reading is simply awful. Fortunately we play them twice next weekend. With a roster as annihilated as ours, the crummier the opposition the better.

For all you naysayers, I would just like to point out that the versitile Sawatske netted one last night. What can't that kid do?

Hope Zero isn't hurt too badly. He was quite wobbly on his way to the dressing room. It was great to see Sproat go after the Reading player who elbowed Scero.

Good to see Eghoetz back as well. Consummate team player coming back before he's 100%.

Great game...FUN game to watch!

As far as which goalie to start next, whoever Chuck decides to start. People may not necessarily agree who to start, but I don't think anyone can argue Chuck "Clever" Weber knows what he's doing!

...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones!
