My first Cyclones game i went to that got me really into it was the game you went after that guy in the penalty box. I'll always remember that as the moment i became addicted to the sport. You were always the one my friends would point out and go " look at that guy! He's awesome!" lol. Not sure if we actually ever have formally met so i'll try at the next game i'm at to come say hi. Good luck in the army, I hope all goes well.

Best of luck to you HFH 666 in your new adventure! We have only met a few times in the smoking sections and at the Kelly Cup Championship celebration @ Fountain Square. My son and I have been 1/2 season ticket holders in Sec 110 since we moved to the Cincy area 3 years ago yet we manage to go to about 90% of all the home games and my son insists we a few rows behind you in your section when not in our season ticket area. We love the atmosphere -especially the "Italian Salute" you greet opposing players with. My son also gets a kick out of the E=MC 2 gig you do w/ Ryan Nie! God Speed!!

everyone go see a ticket rep and request 1) HFH drops the first puck of the game before the end of the season, 2) ask that #666 gets retired and 3) ask for an HFH bobble head.....

Not Sgt. Carter...but how about Senior Drill Instructor Hartman from Full Metal Jacket (yeah, I know it's from the Marine Corp).
Anyway, H-Man, you should ONLY loan out your gear if you can get it back on short notice when you come back to visit, if you loan it out at all! I personnally don't think you should, but maybe we as fans can do something to honor your seat while your on a "brief" leave of absence from us. That way when you do stop in for a surprise visit and we see you it will fire people up a little more.
Imitation can be the sincerest form of flattery. You were one of the things that inspired me to go out and make my red light hat. I saw how you fire fans up around you and wanted to try to do a small part in accomplishing the same thing. Passion is infectious, and you have infected a lot of people, including me.
I will certainly be looking you up before you leave.

...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones!

I have to admit, those ideas would be AWESOME to actually have happen. However, I suppose I should be humble and say it's not necessary. I really would like to drop a ceremonial first puck. As for retiring my jersey, Section 60 could do it, but the Cyclones, I doubt, would go for it. The bobblehead would be an honor. Could the Clones do it? YES Will they? WHO KNOWS? All the kind words and well wishes are all the honor I really need. Hell, even CONFINED DUMBASS (CD) on Hacker's Grave honored me with a post. He almost fully admitted to attending a Clones game too!

Seriously, I am not asking for anything from anyone but to drop a puck, and for all of you fans to keep your passion for the game and the Cyclones. We have a good thing going, so let's keep it that way. Ray Harris was in the building last week and he was asked if the team will be back next year. All the rumors and the garbage you may have read was put to rest when Ray responded with a convincing "YES". We will see what happens ans we'll see you in about 2 weeks.

Welcome to Hell Frozen Over

I think those are good ideas, but the only one plausible would be to get HFH to drop the ceremonial first puck ... how about the last game of the season on fan appreciation night? I think it would be great to retire his number however a lot of people and probably even some on the USBA staff would not approve of having "666" hanging up. Maybe along with dropping the puck, just have some kind of "appreciation" ceremony for Heckler before the game or during an intermission, like have him come out to center ice while Wildman runs down a little bit of Heckler history? Either way I fully expect a standing ovation from the crowd.

Heckler,

My little cousin thinks you are the greatest! However I have never brought him over to introduce you to him. If you are at the Fan Appreciation game I will bring him down! Good luck in the Army it will be hard work, but well worth it!

Heckler, being the son of a retired Air Force First Sargent, I know the sacrifices that our service men and women put forth each day, One cannot forget after joining that with the current situation around the world that the chances are good for deployment somewhere overseas away from family here. I want to thank you and all of the service men and women for providing my 1 and 3 year old daughters the piece of mind that they can go to bed and sleep safe. I believe that despite what side of the political arena you fall underneath that we have not been faced with a major terroist threat here in the US since 2001. That is not a reflection of the goverment, That is a direct reflection of the Men and women in the armed forces, You see if we are not taking the fight to them...They will most certainly be trying to take the fight to us....You serving the US and keeping my family and friends safe is certainly a debt that I feel that I cannot repay, but I promise that I will continue to support the troops and yourself no matter where you may be. I will most certainly stop by before you go, Certaily we will be able to provide you with your little piece of the Clones and I will start collecting items I pick up over the seasons to send to you, Maybe your own bobblehead....we have never met before, So I will look forward to meeting you soon....Scuba

hfh should drop the first puck. and ride the zamboni for that game. and shoot t-shirts between periods. and give away pizzas. and be mic'd. that last one is just for fun.

hfh's "gear" should be painted on the boards.

666 should not be retired because it would have to be unretired when he triumphantly returns.

best of luck to you hfh. why do i have the feeling you will represent wherever you end up?
