| Yeah, why would I give a perfectly good pizza away? Besides the fact they don't do that promo any more. As for Skyline, I'll give that away all day long cuz I can't stand it. GO GOLD STAR! All these suggestions are cool ideas. If the Clones do anything, I'll be surprised. MOM, you are very welcome. I have kids of my own and I know how they feel when a "mascot" or someone like me gives them the time of day. Again, I appreciate all the kind words. |

HFH,
Be careful & thanks! There isn't much that I can say that hasn't already been said... It takes a lot to be willing to serve our country and for those of us that rely on our freedoms every day, I appreciate everyone who serves.
God Bless- and take care of yourself- I'm sure you'll be able to get your hockey fix but, you will be missed at Clones games that is for sure. |

Good Luck Heckler! You are definitely an integral part of Cyclone Hockey! Its not the same when you miss one game, I can't imagine what it will be like sitting in section120, and not seeing you at your station. Whenever someone asks me where I sit, and I say where the Zamboni comes out, the response is always "Oh, by the Heckler From Hell?"
Well, good luck, give 'em hell, and you will be missed.
Maybe they should run video of your dance and siren call when the Cyclones score, ala Rick Flair at Carolina Hurricane games. |

You'll be missed, HFH, for better or worse (more accurately, from whatever lens you are seen through).
By the way I did do a blog entry when I found the old Enquirer on Chris but if you took it as any knock against you as a copycat, I apologize. That entry was purely for the nostalgia value of finding the old article.
May I publish your goodbye post on the blog?

| Guido, absolutely. You have my permission. As for the article, I read it but not on your blog. No knock taken. Others see it that way. Thanks for the kind words again folks. |

| Heckler, I just wanted to say that you are the ultimate fan. Since I began going to Cyclones games, you have always been not only entertaining but are the ultimate fan of fans for any team. From what everyone has posted to date, we will miss you. I hope to fill your shoes in your absence, but the other fans will be the judge of that. Will you be at the game on the 18th? If so, would you mind signing an old Clone jersey that I will be retiring? HFH forever, the big fat dumb Bengals fan never. |

No offence here but this might piss some people off but I need to get this off my chest. 1st off let me start by saying that I'm glad that HFH is making the choice to go serve his/our country. I tried but they wouldn't take me(med Reason) But I think some of you are going way to far with this. Having a Bobblehead and retiring his Number? WTF? WHY? just B/C he has been coming to Clones games dressed in a mask and yelling? There have been some of us going to game way longer the HFH and do they deserve a Bobblehead or have the Clones do something for them? The answer is NO. I have been a long time Clones fan myself and have been to a lot of games home and away. I have traveled with the team going back to the IHL days and I still do. I haven't missed may games even when I was sick and going threw Chemo and all that nasty s**t that comes with cancer. I'm not asking for nothing from the Cyclones for BEING A FAN, they gave me that when the won the Kelly Cup last year. That's all HFH is "Just a Fan for a Hockey team". I'm sorry I don't believe that they should do a boblehead or the Number thing But that just me. Some of you may be thinking "this guy is just jealous of him or whatever. Well I'm not and some of you may not agree with me but I think a few do but they just want to be nice and say nothing. I just think that some people are going to far with this just b/c he is off for the Army and want to say nice things. Sorry HFH for raining on your parade but I need too. And for all of you who don't agree with me well, That's fine too. I will be in my seat at the next home game same place I have been for years section 120 Row B 5 & 6 fill free to come over and yell at me and call me bad name whatever makes you fill better I know i do now that this is off my chest.
P.S. I am all for him dropping the Puck before a game B/C I did it and it's a blast( I was dressed like Flavor Fla it was an inside joke for Greg Stewart or "Stewy Stew" as we called him lol and he loved it. |

| Clonesfan, you ain't raining on my parade. I am not asking for any of this. Would it be cool? HELL YEAH! But I don't expect any of it. I really would like to drop a "first puck" tho. I think others believe that I am a staple of entertainment at games and really noticeable. And since I am a bobblehead would go over well. I sorta agree but I am not asking anyone to do it. As for retiring my jersey...WHY? I'm not retiring. I'm just going away for a while. Maybe give my vocal chords a break. After basic training that is. It's nice people think of me that way, it really is. I'm an entertainer and a Clones fan. I love cheering on my team, making people laugh, with me or at me, and raising a bit of hell. Thanks for all your support, but we have a season to finish up before I go anywhere. Hopefully I won't see the end of it either. |

I agree with Rob. HFH love ya dude don't get me wrong but like was said we are fans. I've been going to games since I was born. My first game was in 1989 when I was only a few weeks old haha. So I'm a lifer with the Cyclones.
Anyway, HFH thank you for your entertainment, sitting across from you in 120 is a pleasure and you have some of the wittiest heckles alive and you lead our side in most of the chants and I appreciate it because I am loud at games but I'm not one to be the "leader" of a whole section of people.
Thanks for making the decision to serve our country and hopefully the rest of the season will be good for you before you go on your way. |

ClonesFan...I will say that I too thought a lot about the same things you stated (maybe not in the same tone, but essentially, the same ideas) and you should not feel like your unable to speak those things on a message board such as this. Thats the point, so kudos for you speaking your mind, with no worry of what others may say.
Bobblehead = would be cool, but unnecessary, due to the fact that 2 people STILL have yet to be enshrined in the manner, that should be, Coach Weber and Cedric Desjardins. Both of whom contributed to our CHAMPIONSHIP more than anyone, in my opinion.
Jersey retiring? = not a chance, for so many reasons. Could any of you really anticipate the cries to be SAVED on FAITH NIGHT and all backlash for having "666" up in the rafters. Although very comical, I dont think that night would be fun. Also, HFH stated already that he would donate his mask/jersey to section 60 for the time being, until he returns. I think that is a great idea.
Puck drop = the best way to show appreciation to the "average" or above average Cyclones fan. This would be a great honor to HFH from what I've seen and heard from him, and he has stated many times that he EXPECTS nothing, and only appreciates the kind words we've all said.
HFH, you are gonna be thought of by many people when your gone, and you know you'll find yourself back here with us when you get bored with playing with missles/etc. so just get'r'done and be safe.

| A salute is also regarded as a sign of respect, so it wont hurt anything for him to salute an "enlisted" solider LOL |
