I know we are in the business of moving players up to the AHL, but this plain stinks. First off-great for you Randy for a chance at the AHL-you deserve it. Now we are left with Loic (possibly a good goalie but unproven) and I guess we lose our video man or he will be filming in goalie pads! Cody,Martin or Dov- WHERE ARE YOU !!!! |

I'd like to know where you got your information? It's not on the ECHL or AHL web site.
Thanks. |

02/28/2009 Ryan Nie (G) Milwaukee ADD Signed to PTO
Its on the AHL transaction page now. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Great break for Ryan, again not so much for us.
A few posts ago I said I wasn't ready to annoint Loic #1; well I guess that point is moot right about now. The last two games I believe he has played well enough for us to win. One of those games we provided him offensive and defensive help, the other we didn't. The goals that went in were a result of (Elmira's) hard work or a defensive breakdown. Even the greatest aren't going to stop everything.
Even with a depleted lineup and our new #1 goaltender I think we can still beat Elmira. The mental effect of the move on the team is going to be the difference tonight.
Lastly I have to believe the next call up is going to be Chuck Weber. (Hopefully not until the current season is over!) He scapes together castoffs and players who haven't gotten a fair shot gives them a chance to shine (which they seem to do) and they get sent up...Usually to stay. As the Head Coach of a dual affiliate team in a developmental league I believe Coach Weber has exceeded everyones expectations from the fans to the affilates management. Let me be the first one to say Good Luck! |

Sorry "RYAN", was so mad I called you "Randy". Does this mean we can ask Milwaukee for Juice back ! I say sign Lee to a PTO allowing him to suit up and actually play. With the musical roster chairs Weber has gone through this year,I wouldn't blame him one bit for taking an AHL job and having the luxury of an ECHL roster at his need. |

my best guess would be that this is a temporary call up. i haven't looked but i'm thinking something is keeping a MIL goalie out and since kyle is with j-town playing florida it's quicker, easier and cheaper to get nie to iowa than it is to get kyle there. also, since we are at home it's easier for us to add an EBUG than it would be for j-town.....
just thought i'd throw out my two cents..... |

| I think so too elvis, I looked at the sheet from Milwaukees game last night and MacIntyre played almost 40 minutes.. he only gave up one goal. and then the other goalie played 20 minutes. soo maybe macintyre got injured or something i just hope its nothing big! |

Yeah, I would like to see Lee in action....I want to know what the guy can do. Also, The Juice stopped all his shots last night...Maybe Johnstown's team gives him more confidence? |

It is pretty crazy how even our best guys that AREN'T affiliated with either Hamilton or Milwaukee wind up there anyway on PTOs.
Nie and Van Guilder were both outstanding, especially both in the last few weeks. I have been very impressed with Lacasse these last three games however I fully expect him to have a few "off nights" and rightfully so, neither him nor Gajewski when we had him seemed capable of being the full time starter. We'll see ... poor Weber has had to go out and sign goalies so much this year ... |

| He gave up 4 goals in tonight's game vs. Florida, which completes the sweep for Florida against the chiefs. Doesn't look like anything's changed at this point. |

We all know Chuck is on borrowed time. The only reason he didn't leave after last season is because from what I was told he was only offered an assistant spot in the AHL. I believe he signed a two year contract with the Cyclones in the off season, but he has an escape clause if he is offered a head coaching job. |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |

ECHL CINCINNATI CYCLONES-Loaned G Ryan Nie to Milwaukee (AHL). Added G Lee Lansdowne to roster. This is how it is listed on USA Today site under transactions. "LOANED"? |
