| As a first year season ticket holder, I was wondering when exactly does your ticket rep get in contact with you about playoff tickets? |

Poff34 You have to use your unused tickets during the season, not the playoffs. |

| poff34, in order to trade in unused tickets, you have to call your ticket rep sometime before the game you wish to attend. I find it's best to do it at least 2 days before the game, that way you have a pretty good shot at getting your same seats. |

Unless they have changed policy-unused season tickets are NOT good for playoffs.Someone let me know if I'm wrong. |

| Another question that I forgot in the original post, how much do the playoff tickets cost? And can you get refunds for unused playoff tickets? |

| Last year playoff tickets were $10 and I hope they will be the same this year. I have not been in a situation of having leftover tickets but my first thought was I doubt they will give a "refund". They might exchange them for playoff tickets but I would not expect them to promote that idea. |

| Playoff tickets you buy the full 15 games I believe or the total number of possible games. The tickets are numbered by game. In the past your unused PLAYOFF tickets can be exchanged or if your a season ticket holded be credited towards next years season tickets. |

NO you can't trade them in for playoff tickets....I asked my rep about that this last weekend and he said no...It really makes no sense to me since I expect them to stay at 10 dollars. So, hurry and trade them in ASAP so you can use up your tickets before they become no good. |

even though the playoff pices will most likely remain the same for the fans, they are actually worth less to the team. in the playoffs the echl gets a cut from each ticket, so if they let us trade in regular season tickets they would probably lose money on that ticket. i know "but we're season ticket holders, we support the team all season long, they should let us....blah blah blah...." keep in mind that the cyclones are a business and here to be profitable. they are more than fair by keeping the ticket prices at $10 when most teams see an increase in price of $2 to $5 per round......
FYI, the echl cut is also why the attendance gets really interesting in the playoffs. since teams give a cut of the ticket sales to the echl, the "comp" tickets become very difficult to get (i'm not saying they aren't out there, just a lot harder to acquire) and all teams count "fans through the door" rather "than tickets out" to calculate attendance. it's funny to see teams that say they avg 6000+ for a weekend during the regular season suddenly see their attendance drop 2 to 3 thousand people. yet the cyclones and a few other teams remain stable and/or continue to show growth.....it gives you a really good indicator of which teams are "juicing" attendance and by how much |

Great points Elvis.
When the Bombers went to the KC finals a few years ago, they averaged 1,808 per game that playoff year-about half of their announced *gag* regular season attendance. One factor which must be mentioned is that their ticket prices increased for each playoff round that season.
Last season the Cyclones averaged 4935 during the KC playoffs-about double their regular season average.
I've always felt that playoff attendance provides a very good measure of real fan interest and gives a fairly good indicator of what the underlying 'fan base' for a team is. If one excludes the final found of the KC playoffs last season, the Cyclones drew a total of 25994 for 8 games (4 weekend/4 weekday) for an average of 3249. Which is very close to what the team is averaging this season.

| Is there a price or package that you can buy all the 15 games or however many for the playoffs at once and then use the tickets next year like 4clones said? |
