denis was called up because halak is sick. mtl plays today (3/4) and hamilton doesn't play for a few days and since we don't have any games until the weekend there's a good chance that denis will be back in hamilton before loic is needed.
there is the possibility that kyle could be reassigned here by milwaukee, but with just 2 games this weekend and then nothing until the following weekend i'm content with having nie here. |

I believe the Everblades had their good goaltender promoted to the AHL and now they get Juice in return. Hmmmmm.

Gerard Miller was released from his PTO at Lake Erie...wonder if Coach Web has completely left him in the past, or might go after some original Cyclone blood.

i believe he is still under contract with reading. players in the AHL on PTOs are usually contracted with a lower level team of some sort. according to hockeydb gerard started the season in las vegas and ended up in reading, although i don't remember seeing it on the transactions...... |

hahaha...thanks buckeye...i try to keep my info straight.....
however, while gerard might be off limits, it appears that mtl/ham are starting to get healthy up front. while latty and beau are out for the year, ham has some guys signed to PTOs. i'm not sure where they came from but there might be a slim outside chance that we see some help. getting van guilder back would be good by itself.... |
