| This is good for us. Hopefully he keeps playing with the heart he has been when he was with us since he got a lot of time in the A. |

Great news. But will he remeber how to play?
At least he's well rested. I think he's played one game in the last month. |

I thought this may have been coming. I get Milwaukee News letter and it said that Nashville sent two down to the AHL. |

Cincinnati: Add Jason Woll, D signed contract
Hasn't played in a couple of years. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The NAHL is a decent league, its almost major junior for the players in the US (High School ages). I've seen a few games of the Texas Tornado and they play much better than high school but not professional hockey. Not playing for a few years may or may not be true; he could have been playing for a small college/small division college hockey.
If Coach Weber signed him, its good enough for me.
McElroy is returning at the right time!! |

http://www.uscho.com/stats/player.php?pid=12260&gender=m I think it's this guy, but I'm not completely sure Not too bad, and it's the same division that Deitsch came from (D3).

quote: Jason Woll Junior Program: Bozeman Icedogs (NAHL)
2007-2008: Played in 28 games... Had 4 goals and was fourth on the team in assists (13). He also had 17 points for the season... He was 9th in the MCHA for the Defenseman Scoring (0.70)... He was also named to the MCHA All-Conference team... MCHA All-Academic Team for the second time.
2006-2007: Played in 25 games. Had 6 goals and was third on the team in assists (17). He also added 4 power play goals.
2005-2006: MCHA's 6th ranked scoring defenseman played in 26 games...Had 2 goals, 12 assists for 14 total points and contributed 1 powerplay goal.
Sounds like there's a good probability that he has some decent hockey sense, which works well with Weber's system. |

Not all D3 hockey is created equal. Deitsch attended St Norbert, longtime D3 powerhouse. MSOE not bad, but can't compare to St. Norbert.
NAHL is Tier II Junior hockey in the US, a step below the USHL (Tier I). It's very good hockey, pretty big step up from the Tier III Junior A team that plays locally (Steam). The top 8-10% of NAHL players have the talent play D1 hockey, the next 30-40% will go D3. The rest will likely play college club. By comaprison, the USHL will have 40-50 of their roster with Di college commits. |
