Hello everyone,
I was wondering if you folks could help me ? I am looking for a list of all of the Cyclones broadcasters. For starters, I could really use the list of the broadcasters from the third version of the Cyclones. The current one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cyclones (ECHL-Version 1) 1990-91 - 1991-92 - Cyclones (IHL-Version 2) 1992-93 - 1993-94 - 1994-95 - 1995-96 - 1996-97 - 1997-98 - 1998-99 1999-00 - 2000-01 - Cyclones (ECHL-Version 3) 2001-02 - 2002-03 - 2003-04 - 2006-07 - 2007-08 - 2008-09 -

The first broadcaster/PR person was Terry Ficcorrelli. At some point we've also had John Wiedemann (now with the Blackhawks) and a young man named Aaron Root. You could probably check www.hockeydb.com to see if the information you're looking for is there.
Good luck. |
Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.

| Bill Davidge did color commentary with John Wiedeman if I recall. He does color commentary for the Columbus Leaf Blowers, I mean Blue Jackets radio broadcasts. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Greg Divetto was freaking awsome, had the perfect voice for radio. I remember a column he wrote about the team after a lifelong Cyclones fan (a woman) passed, and he wrote an inspiring letter about her and how she inspired the guys on that great team we had in 02-03...
1 game from the Kelly Cup.... :( Oh well, we TOOK it last year, and didnt look back.
Either way....he was cool. Terry is an original though.

Andy MacWilliams was announcer for the WHA STINGERS. He did a few years as a broadcaster for an NHL team (Chicago I think) but was forced into early retirement in broadcasting due to severe layrnx damage. (I honestly don't recall him doing too many games as announcer for the CYCLONES....mostly just 'color'.) |
