What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I know a lot of you will not agree with me or rather think I'm being silly, but I am so bummed about this. Chris was one of my fav's and I felt he played with a lot of heart. I am sad to see him go.

I too believe this is b.s. Ferazzoli played with more heart and enthusiasm than a lot of the other players. He's another example of DD and size not being a reason someone cant play, although his stats weren't anything near DD, Chris F. still made great passes, hustled on every play, and just wasnt given a fair opportunity to bring his game to this team. This truely is a crappy release.

Quesnele's +/- stats are -26 in the 2008-09 regular season and another -9 in the playoffs. Doesn't sound like a defenseman to me.

Just what we need-more clueless players because they are new to the team. These last minute
panic moves are going to cost us any chance even if we do make the playoffs.

I was excited to hear that Ferazzoli was going to get another shot with the team after his injury last season, and it appears I'm in the minority here, but I wasn't impressed. I'm not going to argue whether he had more heart than some guys, etc. because that's really just opinion. I just didn't see much potential with him in the future, and let's face the facts ... a goal and four assists in 14 games. Not much to say about the new d-man ... he did have a fair amount of points (mostly assists) but I'm not too familiar with the league to really comment on it.

I too have found it frustrating to watch the team try to gel with all of the new signings that have happened this year (tends to remind me of the 03-04 season which is NOT something I want to be reminded of), but let's see the results before we make claims like they are going to cost us. Just like has happened all year, St. Denis and/or McElroy could be back gone before we know it and someone is going to need to fill the gap. I trust Weber knows what he's doing with these signings (even if they are as "out there" as signing those couple of guys in Florida, which we won that game that night) even if they aren't permanent.

Ferazzoli had 24 GOALS with his EPHL team before coming back here to play for the Cyclones. He CAN contribute, but he wasnt utilized in the way he could help the team.

cyclonehole, Im not trying to debate your opinions, I respect them, so let me start with that. I just want to voice that I disagree with how you could say you werent impressed with him in his 2nd stint. Yeah, 1 g 4 a doesnt seem like much, but do you remember STARLING only having 2 goals for about 3/4 of the season last year, and he got to play the whole year.

We've had, AND STILL HAVE, guys on this team that are doing far less, some of those on this board have pointed out Syro as one of these, which I disagree with, but thats just an example. There were other moves that could've been made, and werent.

I dont understand the decisions or direction our team is goin with but I guess we'll just have to accept it and hope for the best.

Quesnele played for a very poor team this season. They went 19-49. They scored 172 goals and allowed 290 goals. Everyone on that team had a lousy +-. Good players are sometimes saddled with lousy teammates. He's demonstrated some scoring ability and perhaps he can be a quarterback on the power play. We really need one.

I'm assuming this kid can play. If he can add to our defense, then all the better. The Cyclones best strategy to win games is by playing very solid defense. We don't have the offensive horses this season. With the goaltending as strong as it is, our best chance to make a run deep into the playoffs will rest with our defensive play. Hopefully this signing will work to serve that goal.

Ferazzoli tried, but he just doesn't have it. He got plenty of ice time and turned in 1 goal and 4 assists to go with a -5 in 14 games. He got to play a regular shift most games and had pp and pk time. He's 28 years old and 5'4" and 140 lbs. His skating is not near good enough to overcome his size deficiencies. A strong wind knocks him off the puck. His passing and shooting were nothing special either. Small players need exceptional skills to make a go of it and Ferazzoli wasn't skilled enough to cut the mustard.

I'm sure that he is more than grateful to Weber for giving him a chance to play AA hockey. He had a chance to live out part of his dream. I'm sure that he was aware that his time at this level wasn't going to be long term. He was a roster filler who did what he could to help the team. Hopefully he'll leave the Cyclones with great memories.

I was also mad to see Ferazzoli go because he proved himself in the single A level enough to get a long term shot up in the AA. I hope he doesnt sign on to another team and it comes back to haunt us. Quesnele looks like a good pickup even though his team was pretty bad

There is more to the 'Zoli situation, however, I cannot say what I've heard, nor can I verify if the info/source was true.

......for a few days. Will try to see if its all true, and shed some light on this. Doesnt makes sense that CWeb brings Chris back this year, only to let him go at a time where we need people that play every second they're out on the ice. 'Zoli did just that.

Yeah...for anyone that doubted Chris Ferazzoli and his need to be in the ECHL, his quick aquisation of the EPHL Championship MVP, that says it all.

Anyone know what happened to D'Alvise? He played a few games and I haven't seen him since. Haven't seen his name on the transactions page as being released either.

D'Alvise was playing on his SPRING BREAK from college! (Like BIB 06-07) He had to go back to school, but I haven't seen any record on the transactions page.
