I dunno what's weirder: the Cyclones out-lasting the Bombers, or Cyclones fans talking about jumping to the AHL. It'd be interesting to see the reaction on that other board if that happened.

There was an article a year or two ago that said the Cyclones intended to move up to the NHL (and no that is not an April Fools joke). I thought then and I still think that they probably said they planned to move up to AHL and the reporter messed up the quote.

Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

There is someone wealthy enough to bring AHL hockey to Cincinnati.

There is someone drunk enough to bring AHL hockey to Cincinnati.

The problem is that there is NO ONE wealthy enough and drunk enough to bring AHL hockey to Cincinnati.

What was the name of the Arthur's butler? I know that the late, great Sir John Gielgud (sp?) played him, but the name of the character escapeths me.

"We have an interest in returning to several markets. Richmond has had a team in the Southern Professional (Hockey) League for several years, but it's a market that's of interest. Other markets like Greensboro and Greenville, we're having discussions as we speak about the possibility of going back into some of those places. But history dictates that when we do it properly, we have a very high-percentage chance of succeeding for the longer term."

We may have a few NEW rivals join'n if some ownerships step up in old places (ex:Greensboro)
