I have been looking at the standings, and have discovered that the math is on our side for a division championship celebration tonight!

We can win the division this evening with

- A win
- Trenton loss in regulation

If this happens, then Trenton would remain at 83 points with one to play, and the Clones and Jackals would have 85. However, Elmira has no more games left, and we hold a tiebreaker over both of them.

No matter what, we HAVE to win at least one of the games this weekend, and we need Trenton to lose this weekend...

But, lets face it folks... we are playing Johnsburgville!

Oh and in response to the possibility of playing the Chiefs in the first round... Im looking forward to any possibility of being the Omaha Icebreakers to these so called "Super" Chiefs... nice little Slap Shot reference for everyone LOL

cMan, don't you mean Elmira? How could the worst team in the division have 53 points fighting for the division title against 2 teams with 80+ points?

However, it would be nice ending to the season accomplishing the team's second regulation goal before the last game.

C-Man, you are correct on almost everything. It's Elmira who is done for the season with 85 points, not Reading. Let's take these last two and J-town won't even be in the playoffs!!

If we beat Johnstown in regulation tonight and Wheeling beats Dayton or gets an OT point, then Johnstown is out of the playoffs.

That sounds good to me. This IS the first round of the playoffs for us and we need to end somebody's season.

Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

Wow... This is just getting crazy. I'm thankful for the math so I know what needs to happen. But I'm just going to sit over here and knock on wood because of this thread... LOL

What you do today can change the course of your life far into the future. Today is critical. Today really counts.

Lisa, we're all knocking on wood, but our faith in the Clones will help the team win.

My biggest concern-We win tonight and ELIMINATE Johnstown. The concern is what monster
in white and yellow would show up Saturday night if they have nothing to gain or lose!
Big fight night might be fun for the fans but injured or suspended players could
cost us in the first round.

Johnstown still not eliminated so they should be playing to win tomorrow night. Let's
hope Trenton stumbles and we get first either way.
