felix petit...

http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=89535

the kid has serious potential. i'm not saying he's the second coming of DD or anything but if we give him some time i think he can put up some serious numbers....

i've been excited about this kid ever since i found out chuck was looking at him...which i never mention because 1) i wasn't sure if he'd ever make it here and 2) why mention it and give the opponents some insight....

speaking of which...

other teams read these boards so lets try to keep the talk about injuries and new signings to a minimum. the last thing we need at this point is to start a discussion about some guys injured hand and then have the opposition come out and slash they guy in the hand and knock him out....chuck and hammer purposely leave things unitl the last minute to catch the other guys off guard...let's do the same...

Hi Steve. You suck.

Hi Ricky. You suck too. But not as bad as Steve.

Hi Greg. You're ok. But why did you get fired from Ft. Wayne?

Hi Ian. Way to have your team prepared for a must win game on Wednesday. Your tee time on Monday should be safe.

Felix hopefully had first game jitters. He looked like the second coming of Ben MacLeod to me. I hear that Weber is bringing some guy named Oscar on board for Saturday's game, so that might help motivate Felix.

I thought Petit didn't look too bad. Nothing to rave about, but I thought his stickwork and balance was pretty nice on some breaks through traffic.

Loved seeing the Johnstown bench so chatty with the fans at first intermission but got real quiet when they lost the lead. That's when their players zipped up between whistles as well. Head down going into the third.

How many f'n chances was the ref going to give Johnstown at the end?

Nevermind the go-go gadget sticks tripping players all over

Sweeny has sore knees after tonight's game and it didn't even go the way he was trying to make it.

Is he playoff eligible? I am just curious because I thought somebody said a player has to play 5 games on your team to play post season.

Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

I believe its the play 5 games or players signed from colleges after their season is over are eligible. I think the AHL is the same way too.

the 5 game rule does not apply to players signed out of college and junior hockey. felix was signed out of the QMJL and is playoff eligible....

Weber was very high in his praise of Petit at the dinner tonight. I'm assuming that he'll play the last two games of the regular season.

If he's on the playoff roster, then he's won over the only one he needs to. Weber.
