The man just never seems to amaze me. He's got all the right answers, and makes things sound so.....right. He deserves so much for what he's done for our team, city, and fans.
If we can REPEAT as Champs this year, I swear, the city better give him a key to the city, hell, let him run the Police and Fire Dept....I dont care, GIVE HIM SOMETHING for his accomplishment(s). |

| Ya know what he'll get if he repeats? A job in the AHL or NHL, sucks for us, but he already deserves it. |

| I will be shocked if we get him back next year. At the Season Ticket holders dinner he did say he would not leave Cincinnati for another ECHL job and was very happy here. We all know he's on borrowed time though. |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |

| I truthfully can see him jumping straight to the N as an assistant next year. As much as I love Chuck I think he's ready to move to bigger things. |

You know, Weber is really multi-dimentional. He obviously is a wonderful coach. He has a knack to really get the guys to look out for each other and play for each other. He definitely has ingrained a sense of respect in the room. (He's just as good with kids too as my daughter really enjoyed their youth clinic lsat year).
While I think the natural tendency is for people to think his next move or ending place is coaching, I can just as easily see him landing behind a desk as a GM somewhere. He truly has a knack for scouting and getting the talent that he needs to compete. It is a very good combination to have.
I do say though, while I would absolutely hate to lose him here, it would be refreshing to see another Cincinnati coach someday make it to the big time ala Mike Babcock. How fun would it be to someday see those two going head to head in a Stanley Cup final? |
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience

If I'm not mistaken, Weber's ultimate aim is to be an NHL GM.
He could also be a very successful Division I coach as well. This job essentially merges the GM and coaching responsibiliies.
In any case, a second Kelly Cup Championship this season would make it impossible for him to be overlooked for AHL head coaching positions. One would have to think. |

This is NHL.com's prediction......
No. 1 Cincinnati vs. No. 4 Wheeling
The Cyclones begin their championship defense against the Nailers, who finished the regular season just one point ahead of Johnstown for the fourth and final playoff spot in the North.
Cincinnati won the last three meetings and is 2-3-0 at home and 5-6-0 overall in the season series, while Wheeling was 3-1-1 on the road and 6-3-2 overall. The Nailers have a couple of tremendous young talents in Bryan Ewing (ECHL Rookie of the Year) and Jordan Morrison (74 points in 63 games). Ewing scored 12 goals against the Cyclones this season.
Barret Ehgoetz led the Cyclones against Wheeling with 6 goals and 14 points, while T.J. McElroy and Mark Van Guilder each had 9 assists and 12 points. Ryan Nie went 3-0-0 against the Nailers, but his goals-against average was 3.89. Wheeling's David Brown went 3-1-0 with a 2.52 GAA.
Prediction: Cincinnati in 6

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
