I live in Kentucky so I am declaring Monday 4/20 to be an away game.
Seriously - I know this team can win the Monday game but win or lose I want to recognize that Chuck Weber took a horrible team into this season and somehow kept making changes until this horrible team won the division. Can Chuck pull off a few more miracles? I hope to keep seeing Cyclones hockey after Monday but ultimately every playoff team but one is going to lose their final game. Regardless of how the rest of the playoffs go I appreciate the effort of Chuck and the Cyclones that brought us another great season. |
Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

| From an X's and O's standpoint. Who do you start in goal tomorrow? I'm always of the opinion that in the critical games, you have to go with your best vs. their best. I know Loic was bombed last night but I think I would give him the start in Game 7, but I could be persuaded to go with Nie. What does everyone else think? |

| I'm tempted to say Loic here. He got killed, but that happenes...once in a 7 game series? And of the 4 that he let in, 2 were on a questionable series of penalties. The two I worry about were the first two that he should have gotten, and by starting him, you give him a shred of that confidence back by saying "I don't see that happening again." |

| Whoever gets the start, I'm glad I'm not the one who has to make this decision. |

| Im torn like 51/49 going with Nie. I know that past means nothing but Nie is something like 11-1 against Wheeling. In the same breath Loic is 3-2 this series and hes played great in Wheeling and we have a game 7 becuase of him. Like JK said IM glad not the one making the choice but believes who ever is in net Monday will be the right one. |

| Loic played decently despite everything... I would give him another chance... the biggest motivation he can have is that if this blows up, the Kelly Cup is on the next Fed-Ex plane back to Brian McKenna's office! You CAN NOT get more motivated than THAT! |

| well I use the formula I use when I have a ballteam to coach... during the season I start someone... they have a terrible game... but normally I would start them again the next game as a test and they have a better game... I favor Loic for that purpose, because he normally bounces back from bad games... but keep him on a short leash big time! |

Nie played great earlier in the season but Lacosse has been great lately except for Saturday. He played less then a period Saturday and has Sunday to rest. Put Lacosse back in Monday.
I just got the ECHL News Email. It answers the question we all asked last night:
Cyclones, Nailers Play 14th ECHL Game 7 Monday PRINCETON, N.J. - For the 14th time in the 21-year history of the ECHL there will be a Game 7 when Cincinnati hosts Wheeling in the North Division Semifinals at 7:30 p.m. ET on Monday.
For the first time in history the road team has won in the first six games in the series.

Seems some nailer fans believe this. Come on, Weber isn't stupid. He knows the rules and such. Is it possible their broadcaster was joking and they are just dumb enough to believe it? |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Lacasse played significantly better the second half of the year and has came up big in these playoff games. However, the fact remains that Nie has been great all season and finished the regular season ten games over .500 with the Clones. He also pitched a couple of shut outs in the closing couple of weeks of the season and came up big in the last two games in the Johnstown "series".
Lacasse was great on the road in this series and was a big reason we are where we are now. BUT, both Nie and Lacasse lost in games 1 and 2 at home, both giving up 3 goals a piece, and Lacasse picked up another home loss last night. Lacasse was hot on the road. But he has dropped two at home. Give Nie another shot. I would have been a little more hesitant had Lacasse finished out all three periods last night, but now Nie won't be completely fresh after not playing for three games. |

| It won't matter who is net if they can't score...the post season offense at home has been pathetic...and that's being nice... |
