Here's an update on Pat as of 8:10 AM-he's in some pain but that's to be expected. He'll be in ICU today & maybe moved to a regular room tomorrow. According to his sister, his legs hurt because he had to lay on his side the whole time he was in surgery (probably close to 12 hours).

If I hear anything else I'll post it.

Upate as of 5:00 PM-Pat's in a lot of pain & the family is trying to get something to control that. He's having some swallowing issues because he was intubated for 13 hours. He also doesn't want to eat (probably because of the other 2 issues). I'll check back with the family tomorrow before the game to let you all know his status.

I haven't been able to reach the family for an update. I'll try again tomorrow.

I just got home from the hospital. Pat is in the NSICU unit. He's doing as well as probably expected just a few days from surgery. His family was arriving as I got there. I did tell him that the Clones won both Friday & Saturday night. Now if he remembers, great, if not, oh well. :-)

Please keep him & the family in your prayers if you so choose.

Update as of 6:00 PM 4/27: According to a family member, Pat had to have another surgery today & he was in recovery. He's having complications & if you believe in the power of prayer, please put him & his family there. I don't have a very good feeling about this.

Thanks.

According to the hospital's operator, he's still in the ICU unit. If I can reach the family today or tomorrow, I'll let you all know what's going on.

Let us know where he is and when he's allowed to see visitors when he recovers to that point. I might drop by at some point to see how he's doing.

He's at University Hospital in the Neuro-Science ICU unit. That's all I know at this point.

Hi friends, I just spoke with one of Pat's brothers. He's doing better today but still having some swallowing issues. The brother sounded more at ease (in his voice tone) today than he did Monday. Praise God!!! I'll check back with them this coming Monday to see how things are going. Please keep the prayers going! He did tell me he'd tell Pat I called to see how he was doing. :-)

Hey everyone! I actually got to talk with Pat for a few moments this afternoon. He's in a regular room & is doing better. I'm sure that cards would be appreciated by him. He told me his taste buds have changed & his voice still gets weak. I told him that the Cyclones won the series with Elmira last night & he was happy. He asked me to keep him updated. I was so relieved to hear his voice. I'll call him again in a couple of days & let you all know his status.
