I just got a call from Chuck Weber asking me to attend Friday nights game and to wear White so we can white out the arena. I know I'll be there! Lets go Cyclones!
Finally the Cyclones are using all the things I have turned in with my phone number! |

| I like their effort, but if they really want to throw a "white out" they should give out white Cyclones t-shirts at the game ... maybe throw something on there about the Conference Finals. Sure, most Cyclones fans probably have plenty whether it be Championship t-shirts, the Beat Dayton shirts from this year etc, but when most teams do a white out they give out the shirts so everyone can match. |

| This is heartbreaking for me, but I have to work Friday night. What's even worse is I won't be able to follow up on the game as it is played. It will probably be 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning before I'll be able to find out the outcome. I didn't get to make last nights game because I had a class. I have the up most confidence I'll make it Saturday night. |

Yeah, I just think they should have planned ahead for it to really make it cool ... a lot of teams (such as the Penguins, they do it at Melon Arena often in the playoffs) and even the Cyclones when they did it in 06-07, provide the t-shirts so that anyone can throw one on over what they're wearing and it really looks cool to have the whole crowd "whited out". I just hope it doesn't end up looking lame because only the diehards on here and such are going to get the message and only 1/4 of the crowd (I'm hoping for 5K) are wearing white.
Don't get me wrong, I realize they just threw this together and probably weren't expecting to be down 0-3, as I said, I'm glad they're trying something. |
