| Congrats are in order for former Cyclones Craig Adams, Niclas Wallin and Erik Cole who made it to the NHL Conference Championships, Adams with Pittsburgh, Wallin, and Cole with Carolina. Former Mighty Ducks Chris Kunitz PIT,Matt Cullen CAR, Samuel Pahlsson CHI are also in the Conf Finals. Congrats to all. |

It sure does seem like forever ago when we were affiliated with Carolina and got to see players like Cole and Greg Koehler move up to play with the 'Canes (even if the latter was only for one game).
When I think of the Carolina affiliation I always think of Randy Petruk's mask where he had the tornado (cyclone) with the Hurricanes logo at the top. One of my favorite masks.
Anyway, I am rooting for the Canes at this point, not only because I hate all Boston teams so I was really pulling for them over the Bruins, but I am definitely pulling for Cole, Wallin and Cam Ward. |
