This is from the CAHA website. It's great to see a former player stay in the area and work with the little ones. My son will be excited to learn from him.
Cincinnati Amateur Hockey Association is happy to announce that former NHL San Jose Sharks & Dallas Stars as well as IHL Cincinnati Cyclones and IHL Man of the Year, Pat MacLeod will be overseeing and teaching CAHA’s new Learn To Play Hockey program. Pat has been involved in running clinics at various age groups since 1987 and has a strong commitment to family and community. Pat is a father of 8 and while playing in Cincinnati was twice named as Cyclones March of Dimes Player of the Year. Pat brings a love of the game, enthusiasm for teaching children, NHL experience and knowledge of what it takes to achieve success. For Pat, fun was always an integral part of success. As he says, “My main goal while teaching children the skills to play hockey is to instill the love of the game, which will translate to children who will be motivated to learn and love to play.” Assisting Pat will be Derek Crouch. Derek, CAHA Squirt Minor Head Coach, loves to teach hockey and impart his love of the game to children. Derek is a great skills teacher, makes learning fun and in addition to assisting Pat in Learn To Play Hockey, will be CAHA’s House Clinic Instructor for the 2009-2010 season. Please join CAHA in welcoming both Pat and Derek for their commitment to teaching our children this great sport! |
