I swear they just showed Coach Weber sitting next to Ray Harris at the Red Wings/Chicago game. About the 16 minute mark!

Um...do you honestly think he'd go there after the Coach's show last night? Dont play with us...If he's going anywhere, he's gonna be a Bruin.

Never know, he may be talking about being "affiliates" with the Dead, I mean, Red Wings....I hope not, but either way, thats coach at his best...work work work!

No, actually last night he and Hamer (Maybe Dean, don't know) were talking about having dinner with Ken Holland (Detroit GM) then going to the game.

Didn't Toledo affilate with Detroit in the past? I can't remember.

Babcock is actually walking a very thin line as Red Wings coach. Should they falter in this round, then Weber would be one of the leading candidates to replace him. Ken Holland, the Red Wings GM, has been a semi-regular at USBA this season. A few Red Wing bloggers have circulated rumors about the likely move of Weber from the ECHL to NHL.

Previous paragraph is all BS. LOL. Ray Harris, Nederlander's CFO (#1 money dude), is based in Detroit and is a huge RWings fan. He is just taking Weber, Stork, Hamel and (I would assume) Burke and Case to dinner and a game.

Toledo would be the logical ECHL choice for Detroit for many reasons. Past affiliation, proximity to Grand Rapids (Detroit's AHL affiliation, new building and respected ownership would seem to make this affiliation an automatic.

If you think it was him, then it mostlikey was him.
He said that Ray Harris was taken "them" to dinner and a Red Wings
gams since Ray is a baig fan of the Wings and close friends with
one of their big wigs.

And the Red Wings were the Toledo's affl. for years
before they tore down that dump of a arena.
