Not happening.
Dayton will be playing home and home exhibitions vs. The Toledo Walleye.
The Gems actually approached the Cyclones about a home and home, but the Cyclones refused. The Cyclones were approached before the Gems inquired about a series with Toledo, but the Bombers hadn't officially terminated, so I'll guess that this is why (at least one of the reasons) the Cyclones didn't take them up on it.
It surprised me that Toledo agreed to games BEFORE the Bombers were officially done. I would think that league loyalty to a team which hadn't officially folded would have prevented Toledo from doing the same as the Cyclones. |
