FIRST POST!
I just saw that goaltender Mike McKenna is on our pre-season roster?
Smith and Mayer are still listed there too, Smith is with the forwards and Mayer is lone listed goalie. McKenna is part of a roster with three goalies listed for Lowell Devils.... Anyone heard anything about this yet?

| crv, that's a new one to me. can you post a link to where you saw that. every camp roster i have seen has listed video coach lee lansdowne, local mens leaguer justin axleson, who stood in while waiting for mayer and smith to arrive at which point they where no longer listed and it was just mayer and smith. |

i guess crv for got to follow rule number 1 of echl hockey, never believe what you see on echl.com regarding preseason anything. i'm guessing they use a generic template for inputting the rosters and often times players from other teams don't get cleared out out before another teams get entered. it's a fairly common data entry error. i even give thge echl a week or two before looking at the regualar season rosters.
hammer gets the team website updated fairly quickly now and the info on that is correct and i don't ever recall mckenna being listed on any preseason roster nor do i recall him being signed at any point during the off season. i guess we will find out for sure later today when the echl releases the regular season rosters. |
