(What are Doubtful Rumours? In general loose rumours often started by tabloid newspapers. It is usually difficult to determine how valid these rumours are, so take them with a pinch of salt!
11/20/2009 Dwayne Zinger (D) Cincinnati Cyclones EHC Linz Source eliteprospects.com This website gives lots of player changes but like it says, rumours, but like last year with 3 players jumping the pond in the middle of the season and many from last years team jumping the pond after MacDonald, McElroy, and Faulkner it does cause people to wonder, but with Zinger living in Cincy it would be a shock if he jumps the pond |

I think Weber eventually would have had no choice but to sit Zinger when our injured D got healthy.Zinger unfortunately could not keep up and I think Weber has given him enough time, maybe Zinger knew what was coming. |

While it would be odd for him to leave cincinnati to play overseas, he did it last year, and he has lived in cincinnati for a while now. Apparently Justin White also left to play for QC Mallards in the IHL.
Also, which other 6 defenseman on the roster do you believe can beat out Zinger for the job?
Jozsa - personally think he is horrible Sheahan - maybe O' Hanley - maybe Motherwell - just as bad as Jozsa Krantz - Better than Zinger Roeder - Better than Zinger Coghlan - Better than Zinger
I dont think he would have any trouble staying on a defensive pairing, unless he was only wanting 1st line minutes or something like that. Why would Chuck make him an assistant captain if you think he was planning to boot him? Sproater wore the A for a few games, and I believe he is a very deserving person to be an assistant, and Reynolds and Ehgoetz have cemented their spots for the A and C respectively. |
