Maybe it's to early to tell? Since attendance seems to be doing much better this year, when would you think that the merchandise stand would think about increasing the options they have....seems like the same old stuff game in and game out. It was a much different league but days of old I had checkbook covers, wallets, I have 24K gold Cyclones logo charm, really just about anything you could imagine. Once attendance dropped, so did the merchandise options. I understand not getting caught with unsold stuff, but when should they give it a go again and bring in somethin new?

I agree on your point. One thing I am glad they have sold out of, is there blow horns. They will not get them in untill playoffs. The people that buy them can blow them out there a$$ for all I care. It's about being curteous to your fellow fans. Blow them win they score or when they enter the ice! Not for the hell of it, or right behind someone's head.
As for other merchandise, I agree there should be aleast ten new items, and rotate them in and out with other merchandise. That way they are not buying alot but offering a variety to the fans. I know some of you will say, "It's cheaper to buy in bulk ", and I agree there. So buy in bulk, but rotate your stock from game to game. That way if a pass through fan missed an item he or she was looking for that night, then come back to next game and they will have it. Another ticket sold, and merchandise is not going to waste.

Well SCUBA, I thought you done dropped off the face of the earth I hadn't heard from you in so long!

You are so correct. I have a clock, trash can, business car holder, coffee mugs...all kinds on neat stuff from the IHL days. I had a spare tire cover made for my car with the Cyclones logo on it. I paid for the set up costs and told them they were welcome to use it, but they haven't contacted the person who made it.

...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones!

I want to buy a nice Cyclones Jacket with a decent size Cyclones Logo on the back. Give me that option and the wife and I will promote the team every time we leave the house all winter. How many of you have Bengals jackets. How many of you would prefer to wear Cyclones? This strikes me as a no brainer but I have asked about it every year and it never comes available.

Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

tamg....you said it LOL...anyone w/ a blow-horn sitting directly behind me and KT faces personal removal (and the possibility of being thrown into the Ohio River, if I can get you that far) unless its used during goals or in obvious situations. Nothing more annyoing.....wait, striket that.

Isn't USBA giving out cowbells this year? I thought that was a Peoria, IL hillbilly town thing to do??? Why are we doing it now? Those are just as annoying as the horns.

NatiFan...i agree, I've been waiting for an updated Cyclones winter jacket also.

If any of you know the guys at the stand, they bring that all in from their outside business. They make a lot of the stuff, and are always willing to listen to new ideas for new stuff.

That's about all they will do is listen about new ideas. I've inquired a few times about getting some 3'x5' flags made with the logos and I also inquired about Santa Hats. I would also like to see them or someone offer lettering for jerseys that is done correctly with the right font for the letters and numbers etc.

I agree with cove291, all they will do with ideas is just listen. I know times are tough and they might have to order in bulk......so what. Take a chance!!!! Oh, and by the way.....those freakin' horns were all sold out on education day!!!!! So there is hope that many of them won't ever appear at the arena again.

I made my own. I just bought a patch and then a nice jacket and had it sewn on. My first jacket had the old logo and is really nice. I bought many of the patches and had them sewn on as well. When they changed logo's I did the same thing but the quality of the jacket sucked and I ended up taking the patch off. Just haven't had time to re-do it. Total cost was about $60.00

Are you freaking serious? It's bad enough people blowing those stupid horns they sell...now a bunch of idiot constantly ringing bells!!!! I don't mind the occational bell when we score but I can see everyone ringing them during the whole game and for games to come afterward.

That was one reason why I hated the Ducks games. All of those kids quacking the duck calls. YIKES.

Now I have a bell ,but there is a proper guide lines that I follow. The bell is to be rung only at the following moments; entrance of players on to the ice, a score, exceptionally good play by our goilie, end of regulation time and we won the game. THAT IS IT! The bell helps get the crowd in to it.Not to mention the opposing team fans can not stand it. I was inspired by of all things, a Dayton Bomber fan who came to one our games with a bell at hand. I remembered just how much that guy was pissing me off. I thought," Why are there no Cyclone fans armed with any bells?" So I made my own.I sit with some hardcore fan base that is close to the team, and have followed the team since the gardens. They do not mind me having a bell.
Now the horns on the other hand are flat out annoying, because those who possess them show no etiquette. The just blow them to make noise.

tamg4393 that is the way I expect a bell to be used, but I'm sure kids and a few others will ring them constantly.
