Yes Big Bird is still on the ice for Ontario. Saturday night we went
to the Las Vegas/Ontario game and Chad was playing second line on
defense.The game was crazy because the video man for Vegas was saying
these two teams came close to a Slap Shot pre game brawl the previous
meeting so Vegas was extra timid. Neither team would have any chance
against strong East teams. Biggest laugh of the night came when the
attendance was announced at 4400. I guess the Orleans casino crowd
is included because in Cincinnati it would be 2400 ! Two end
sections had maybe 30 people each! The video guy (talking to him
between periods) was very impressed with the floor checking and all
around game our boys played in the championship.
If Vegas ever says anything about our "super-ball" fans, we were
having "chuck-a-pucks" thrown from the upper boxes.How stupid can you
get. Numbers on the pucks gave the ushers an easy path to the idiots. |
