Last night the clones held the Devils to 0 goals in the first period and this year they've been making a lot of noise about the "Frosty Freeze Out" where you get a coupon for a free frosty at any area Wendy's after a first period shut out. I was just wondering does anyone know where you get the coupons at? I don't think they tell you in the announcement and we forgot to check when leaving last night. Is it the customer service desk? Thanks!

USBA workers hand them out as you leave through the doors, but they're obviously not at every door due to the arena's size. Just have to find one that has a worker.

^Thanks for the info. We went out the south side doors, I'll make sure to go out the main entrance or look for a worker next time.

With all the sponsorship Wendy's has on the place now, I kind of wish they'd open a Wendy's franchise inside. I'd get suckered into buying a spciy chicken sandwich every time

a wendy's inside the arena would be outstanding but i'd have a tough time spending 8 bucks for a 99 cent jr bacon cheeseburger, which is no doubt what the aramark mark up would be.

They hand them out at all the doors that you can enter in before the game. Last night they were handing out hand fulls to people at the one by the garage!

Even better than a wendys would be a Tim Hortons...seeing how Wnedy owns the US franchise rights (well, at least for Ohio)...

OMG, having a Tim Horton's in the arena would be like Christmas every day. Yum... I think that would up the popularity of our arena to out of town fans too. And we'd have half the guys upstairs drinking coffee when they weren't playing...

I think the best way to be sure you get a coupon is to exit the building AS SOON as the game is over. We waited just a few moments & by the time we got to the doors going to the East Garage the workers told me "we handed them all out". Personally I think that's bull but what do I know? I'm just a long time fan.

A couple games back they made a big deal after the scoreless first period and after the game nobody was giving out coupons anywhere. I think they flat out forgot. We even walked around checking several doors. Not a big loss - We have gotten them every other time and we have several still to use at this point.

Now that I know where to go, here's hoping for the freeze out tonight!

P.S. Random question not worth starting a new topic over, but does anyone know when they stop selling tickets? I have a broomball game at Fountain Square then the bar that sponsors us is having a special and I'll probably walk down to the game, just wondering if there's a certain time they cut off ticket sales. After the end of the first period I think I heard once?

Gordon-I suggest you call the Cyclones front office & ask for either the box office or a ticket rep. They should be able to answer your question, ok?

Thanks Susan, good idea. Probably will give them a call after this class, when I posted that at 2 AM I didn't think anyone would be around, lol.
