Which makes it easy to see why you post on this board. But hey, thanks for the early morning entertainment. Works better than coffee.

Also I would love to know how Donnie learned his math, according to him 15+5+3 = 31.

Regardless, we all know he is a troll, and just wants to point out the 'failures' of the cyclones players because he is and always will be a bitter dbag.

You're too easy a mark. It's too fun to poke holes in your absurd claims.

I guess I should be kinder to the mentally challenged. Shame on me.

Its funny because when the Ducks were here we could be saying that many of the Ducks players who were called up were injury fill ins as well so its all about the league AA to AAA, or AAA to NHL call ups are a credit to your play in your current league because they want the best player from a lower league to prove themselves in higher leagues which is exactley what the ECHL and AHL do

Many of the Ducks were expected to play in the NHL, and many of them have. A look at all the Olympic rosters tells you just how good some of them are. Sure, some of them were called up to fill in for injured players but those same players were also expected to arrive in the NHL at some point, too. Not many of the Cyclones players are expected to be much more than what they are now. Some will. Most won't.

None of the skaters have gone on to become regulars in the NHL, and none of them will. The goaltender, Jeremy Smith, has good upside and could one day play in the NHL, but he's several years away from that.

Desjardins numbers look great on paper but he's playing behind a good team that doesn't give up many quality scoring chances per game and very few second chances.

The skaters that will play regularly in the AHL from 2006 to now are already there. The rest are nothing more than just short term help in the AHL, like Van Guilder and Sproat.

I will not argue with you on Sproat because he is an awesome ECHL player and being away from hockey for a few years did hurt his potential even though his size is decent, Van Guilder I will disagree with, he has good size and his points in the ECHL show he can play above the AA league, he does probably need to work on other aspects of his game which is why he is still bouncing but he doesnt need to prove anything more in the ECHL scoring wise, but since he is being sent up and down the last month I am not going to complain when he is on the ice in Cincinnati, when players are called to the AHL it goes as a success to any team in the ECHL/CHL/IHL because they did its job, but just because they are not going to the NHL doesnt mean they dont deserve to advance to the AHL, on the other hand short term help in the NHL for players like Wyman and Desharnais doesnt take away the fact that they lived the dream and made it

Hey, "finally" some new discussion! Ducks/Cyclones, Cyclones/Ducks. Player (A) will never make it past the ECHL.....Player (B) should be fine in the NHL, I personally trained him, and I "know" the general manager and the coach, he called me at home one night and asked me what I think...oh one more thing, I invented the internet and the neutral zone trap.....and I live next to Patrick Roy and Wayne Gretzky is my Half-brother.

Wait wait wait....Donnie, how are you gonna challenge anyone to a "skate" whether physically or mentally, when you could do neither yourself??? hahahaha

Damn, my presence (or lack thereof) due to class/work has left me without some of the great entertainment that people (or maybe just 1) brings to the message board world.

Donnie, how bout some 1 on 1 hockey, put everything to rest? You game?

Loyal Cyclones fan since 1993
