After posting a glittering 1.51 GAA and .940 SPCT through Dec. 31, former Cyclones goaltender Cedrick Desjardins has returned to earth in 2010, compiling a rather ordinary 2.53 GAA and .902 SPCT over his last seven games. In his last three appearances, the 24-year-old Edmunston, NB native has recorded a pedestrian-like 3.17 GAA to go with a .894 SPCT.

| Still better then Sanford who has lost his first two games coming off his injury 0-2-0-0 with a 4ish GAA, while Desjardins in his two bad games still got points for Hamilton, and since Jan 1 he is 4-2-1-1 while playing every game since Sanford was down so fatigue could be an issue but I would take a 2.53 GAA after playing in such a stretch when your basically an only goalie, bad stretches happen in every sport, its a part of the game your not perfect |

Former Cyclone Desjardins Named Reebok/AHL Goaltender Of Month

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The American Hockey League announced that former
Cincinnati Cyclones and current Hamilton Bulldogs goaltender Cedrick Desjardins
has been named the Reebok/AHL Goaltender of the Month for December.
Not much of a thud when he hit the Earth I guess !
