| Yeah, but you gotta hate seeing our affiliates sending anyone to our division rivals. I'm sure there is more to it than I am seeing though. |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |

| Leitch was involved in a trade earlier in the season, so he's not part of the Cyclone organization anymore. |

| But since he still belongs to Milwaukee can't they place him here again if they want. Since they are doing the assigning, can't they put him just about anywhere if the team is willing to take him? |

| leitch is under contract with mke. as far as i know he was the "future considerations" in the morehouse trade. with mke moving him, the bigger question where does leave the trade with alaska? do we still owe them anything? |

| I think it might be the same as the Gajewski to Johnstown-Brett Beauchamp to Cincinnati deal last year, Gajewski was reeasigned to Johnstown while we got Beauchamp for Future Considerations (Gajewski) I think but am not totally sure |

| Wll I guess that answers that but he is controlled by the Admirals so its not impossible that he could be sent back to Cincinnati but probably unlikely |

the cyclones press release read much differently:
Cyclones Acquire Chris Morehouse From Alaska
Date: 12/01/2009
CINCINNATI, Ohio The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHLs Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon they have completed a trade with the Alaska Aces for forward Chris Morehouse. In return, Alaska receives future considerations from the Cyclones. In a related move, the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) have re-assigned forward Bryan Leitch from Cincinnati to Alaska.

we weren't allowed to trade leitch straight up. it had to be "futures" at the ECHL level and then leitch had to be reassigned via milwaukee.leitch is under the control of mke, and if mke moved him to florida without further compensation to alaska from either florida or cincinnati/mke then it would seem that alaska would be owed something. i can't find anything at the echl level regarding a trade between florida and alaska around the time that leitch arrived in florida. |
