Pretty decent game, tonight the shots on goal stayed real close till the last few min's.
Seems the boys CAN hold their own against Charlotte.
Crowds continue to improve with tonight at 3813!
Lets hope the boys can do it again Mon, in Charlotte and end this thing!!

| I'm just curious... Maybe I missed something, but how does Hans Benson score a goal, celebrate, get punched in the face, and get a two minute penalty for it? |

| Im wondering the same thing. But it would also be great if our power play decided to actually play this year sometime! They look HORRIBLE (if thats the right word for it) on the PP. I would rather just pass the PP up and play 5 on 5. |

1. The retaliation is almost always what a ref sees. This is true in all sports and has been... Forever.
2. He's Hans Benson. It works both ways as just about every team has a guy that gets the same treatment. Its ref nature.

| Great game tonight. I was glad to see Hans get the goal. I can't believe how many stupid penalties they put on him. Charlotte is a team full of wannabe goons and actors. They should go play soccer. |

There is no defending our power play, or lack of!
The only thing that made Sat's game acceptable, PP wise, is the fact that Charlotte's was equally bad(luckily)!!
But our PK unit did a great job killing of that 5 on 3.

That game has to rank up with some of the most nerve-racking of all
time. The 3rd period time system had to be slow because every minute
seemed like 75 seconds ! We need to start calling Smith "Earl"
because karma was his best friend. At least 5 open nets were missed
by them and even one for us! I wonder how big a check the referees got
from Charlotte because it sure seemed they were working for them.
And I thought South Carolina was a goon squad-not at all compared to
Charlotte. Stefanishion (17) and Reynolds (44) got away with every
trick in the book. Benson should have given up complaining to the refs
and just called the police and filed assault charges !
Lets win this Wednesday and move on to the semis. |

I commented to my group last night leaving the game that I would almost prefer to see a game like this, rather than a blow-out. (Especially when the boys win)

| Not to be off topic, but after last night's game, the wife and I went down to where the players come out to see the players and to tell T.J. Reynolds again how much he sucks (I was yelling it all night long quite loudly). While we were walking security told us we had to cross the street, that we couldn't walk where they come out. When did they start doing this? The last time we did this was after game 2 of the Kelly Cup 2 years ago and had no problems. |

| they started that this year due to some of the so called fans causing problems with visiting and home players. there were incidents of "fans" becoming physical with the players and actually following them to their cars and banging on the windows. the organization took the steps to prevent any problems from occuring and it appears to be workng well for both teams. you can only say thank you to those fans who think the players owe them somethng or that they are above being civilized and acting incorrectly for not having the privlage of being able to have access to the players after a game. hell its a game not life and death. |
