ok everyone, many of the spots have been filled and chuck is still here. here is a very interesting happening, the wild's asst., mike ramsey, resigned effective immediately. the head coach of the wild is todd richards. chuck was an asst in mil with him and was associated with him in orlando. there are rumors on various chat areas he is being considered for the position. who knows this came out of no where sort of. |

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/407080-breaking-news-minnesota-wild-name-mike-yeo-as-houston-aeros-head-coach
quote: St. Paul, MinnThe Minnesota Wild and the Houston Aeros have named Mike Yeo as new head coach of the Houston Aeros, the minor league affiliate of the Wild.
Yeo, who spent the last five seasons as assistant coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins and won a Stanley Cup in 2009, will replace Kevin Constantine, who lead the Aeros to a playoff berth in 2007-2008 and three seasons behind the bench.
There won't be an AHL head coaching job in the Minnesota organization for Weber. I guess if he's going to get into the Wild organization, then he'll have to start at the top.

Well if they want a proven winner, they're going for one of the best. The job Weber did with barely a playoff quality team last year deserves him a promotion-our huge loss would be their major gain. |

at least he would go to a hockey crazy state and the wild are the team of the state. fingers are crossed for him. at least he would feel comortable with the other coaches. |

I just put two things together that could also be interesting (yes I know I can be slow at times )- in the alumni posts the link of J M Doust signing with the Wild ! If Weber lands the Wild job at least J M may get a legit shot at the NHL level IF (happy DH) he proves himself at the AHL level. |

ya he's been rumored to be "heading" to a lot of places but thanks for the potential update. i hadnt heard that one. in all seriousness though with all the changes the organization has undergone this past week (or so) it would really be nice to know who's gonna be running the show this fall. I realize it may not be that simple, but i am ready for some sense of order to be restored. the hockey fan in me wants it to be chuck, the logical hockey fan in me says he deserves better....but most of all i just wanna know who it's gonna be. |
