| Are the promo giveaway items gauranteed to full season ticket holders this year? Bob Herzog wtf. I guess that's better than Jack Atherton though. |

My suggestion is to save money on bobbleheads and posters and such and do more throwback nights. And instead of one with $8 tickets, do 4 or 5 with $10 tickets and keep the $1 food.
That seems to be the best recipe for success.

If they were really serious, they'd do a Reds player on a Bobblehead wearing a Cyclones jersey.
Now that would sell out. |

| I enjoy watching Bob Herzog do Dance Party Friday for those of you who dont get up at 5:45 AM every Friday morning and tune in on Channel 12 the MOST watched morning news program in Cincinnati so anybody who watches 12 News knows Bob Herzog. His promos during the week leading up to the game will do wonders. I believe this is a great call by the marketing department. |

| I think its a great idea also. There is great PR involved in this idea. The CYCLONES name is now getting out there. Everyone is thinking one minded and only looking at what htey get out of the "bobblehead". This is more than that. They need to market themselves to a bigger market and what other better way than to do it with a news station that alot of people watch and on that people will watch the weather and then when he starts talking about the game then that gains awareness for the team. Yes a agree i dont know who he is but that is not the point at all with this promotion. I am a sports business major at NKU and this is not the point of promotions and incentives, to make the fans happy for the giveaways. The point in the pomotions is to get the people in the door and in the building to attend a game. This bobblehead is a really useless part of the promotion. The whole point behind the giveaway is to get the name out and to compete to gain a little bit of the loosing Bengals. This is a great idea and good job to the promotions staff! |

they are letting us in 15 mins earlier instead. Which i like better. This way on big crowed nights I can get my food and drinks and get to my seat and dont have to move the rest of the night. Plus i get the give-a-way item too. Win Win for me. |

| I'm just echoing some of the responses on here. Bob Herzog is a well-known personality on the #1 rated morning news show in town. There is going to be a lot of free advertising coming the Cyclones way, especially during the weeks and days leading up to this particular game. How this can be seen as a bad thing by some on here is beyond me. You seriously cannot buy this type of publicity, especially with the #1 TV station in town. |

HAHAHAHAH, sorry I could careless about free things. It's just called common sense with marketing.
I will bet you anything more people would come to a game with a Reds player bobblehead than a lame weather man that only people who get up at 4am to watch TV actually know who he is. |

| Thats no what marketing is. It doesnt matter what it is. I agree a reds bobblehead will draw more but the whole point is to increase awareness of the team and what better way than FREE publicity and word of mouth by the news in the weeks before the game! |
