This holiday season the boys of HP4K are really stepping up their service to the needy families in Greater Cincinnati. As Dustin has mentioned, they are really encouraging everyone to participate in the "Give Moore for the Holidays" program that HP4K started last year. Buying toys and games and bringing them to the Bethany House, the boys helped provide a memorable Christmas for underprivileged children by helping disadvantaged mothers feel like they gave their children a proper Christmas.
This year, the fan club is encouraging everyone to participate in "Give Moore for the Holidays" by donating an unwrapped toy or game to HP4K to take to Bethany House this Christmas. By getting the entire fanbase involved, it allows HP4K to help the Bethany House as they did last year, plus be involved in other great programs helping kids this holiday season.
All those that participate by donating an unwrapped gift will be entered into a drawing for a special prize at the end of the toy drive. If you don't want to go shopping, HP4K would greatly appreciate monetary donations (cash or check made out to HP4K). The boys will go shopping towards the end to get whatever remains on the list after donations are collected.
Thanks a lot and Merry Christmas!

Will USBA allow Dustin to set up a donation bin for toys at the arena?
Seems like that would score a bunch of toys.
How about a post game at Fat Cats?

Yes, I grew up playing hockey... In Alabama. |

I doubt a bin would be allowed to be put up just because of fire codes and the amount of crap that's already on the concourse level sometimes, but all you can do is ask. We're trying to make it easy for people to bring in their gifts to the fan club booth to drop off. The arena doesn't let us hang up signs anymore, something about the adhesive staying on the walls... Not sure about that. In my experience, you can't even get duct tape to stick to the walls in that joint. |
