I was going thru some pictures a friend took last year of the circus at USBA and saw a few with the head clown wearing a Cyclones jersey and then I remembered when I saw Trans Siberian at USBA the lead singer made a short appearance wearing one too. Are other acts contracted to do that to promote the team? Being its owned by the arena it makes sense to do that but I didnt know..

Could you be talking about our old house mascot "Jester" ?
Remember "Jester" and "Clawd".

It is my understanding that some of the acts get offered to wear Cyclones jerseys during their shows at USBA. Not a contracted thing, just hey, here's our hometown team that plays in this building. It gets the Cyclones name and logo out there to a crowd that may not be in the building for a hockey game usually. It also gives the performer a way to identify with the crowd in the city. Like when music performers stick the word Cincinnati in a song instead of the city name that was originally written and everyone loses it like, "OMG, he said Cincinnati!" I've seen it at the circus, TSO and other random smaller concerts. Always seems pretty cool that they agree to do it.

What you do today can change the course of your life far into the future. Today is critical. Today really counts.

A lot of acts that come to arenas that host hockey teams usually someway will help promote the team. I know the members of Metallica are huge hockey fans, and I know James Hetfield mentioned the Cyclones, but I can't remember if they wore jerseys on stage. I know USBA gave them jerseys.

You mentioned though it was the head clown- wouldn't it have been
better to wear a Bengals jersey or maybe a Cincinnati city councilman's
outfit .

I had a picture of that clown wearing a Cyclones jersey. Can't remember what year it was. If I remember the clown was a white guy with hair standing straight up, kinda like a pencil eraser. If I can find my wife's camera I will post it on my Facebook page. It should still be on her memory card.

I also remember seeing the Dave Matthews Band at Riverbend some years ago and the drummer was wearing a Cyclones jersey (IHL days).

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

ZINGER!!!!!
