We were at a Andirondak Phantoms game over the holiday break. They were playing the Manchester Monarchs and who do we see? Justin Johnson. He was a healthy scratch and we caught up with him during the game. He was very excited to see fans from Cincinnati. He said to say hi to everyone in Cincy and that he really enjoyed his time here. He even wished my son luck on his upcoming tournament. He is doing well with the team and had played 25 games so far for the Monarchs.
The coaches really like him up there they had a write up a couple months ago. He sticks up for his teammates, and the coaches like that. I am glad he has been given his shot at the A.

He signed a second PTO on Dec 3. He had a 3 pt night including his first AHL goal during Manchester's tribute night. They had his jersey up for auction on their website. Wife tried to win it for me for Christmas but lost out after it got past 600.00. Yes, I do have a wonderful wife. ;-)
