Sounds like I left too early friday night and missed Olsen at work. I left with about four minutes to go and now I hear he had a good one.
I sure hope they get a little payback on the Nailers tonight after the last couple of beatings they gave the Clones! |

I think it was payback for a shot Merth gave Sproat earlier in the period. At least I hope thats what it was.
Regardless, it was pretty much the only 'clones highlight in yet another awful performance at home.
PS - Never leave a hockey game early.

That was a heck of shot Sproat took. I kept waiting to see if someone would make em pay for that.
As far as leaving early, I agree, thats the first time I've done that and of course I miss the highlight! lol Lesson learned.
Wheeling is a good team I suppose, but are they really THAT good to beat the Clones the way they have the last couple of meetings? |

| Why do you guys leave hockey games early? Not like you are doing anything else. I'll never leave the game early. |

I was on my way out of the arena when I heard the crowd's "fight roar". I was able to witness the majority of Olson's decisive victory.
In the previous four seasons, the Cyclones rarely engaged in payback in the final minutes. So, in leaving early, I was pretty sure I wouldn't miss anything but a meaningless late goal or two in a game which had already been decided. For once, we have a legit enforcer who not only knows his role but willingly and effectively does it.
Olson is awesome. I always laugh when he spins his helmet and leaves the ice with his arms raised. He's not only a real enforcer, he's also a showman. There are precious few of those around anymore.
Cheers to Skalde for getting Olson.
