Yzerman said Norfolk G Cedrick Desjardins, who won consecutive starts Dec.#8201;30 and Jan.#8201;1 with Tampa Bay, is expected to miss at least 10 days with a shoulder injury suffered Sunday. Desjardins is scheduled to have an MRI, possibly Monday.
"I don't believe it's a long-term thing," Yzerman said. "My initial report was that we were looking at 10 days. I suspect it might be a little bit longer than that."
TB also sent Mike Smith to Norfolk for conditioning and assigned Janus to the Admirals from Florida Everblades |
