AwesomeSauce has an interesting poll about if the team will make the playoffs, which I am going to give some thought to before I answer. Here is another one:
I got my season ticket renewal notice today. No surprise after watching this years train wreck, no ticket price increase for next year. Short and sweet, as of right now with no off season changes being made, do you intend to:
1. Renew your same game package, 2. Increase your game package 3. Go with a lesser game package or, 4. Not renew at all
Of course, this may be better asked after the season, but since I got the notice, what the heck...
Personally, I will reduce from 24 to 12 |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |

We also got our letter today. David & I aren't sure yet what we're going to do. We could probably wait till the absolute last day & still get the section/row/seats we are in now. No one hardly ever sits in our section & we love it that way.

| I will renew my 24 games. Win or loss my daughters & I still enjoy going. It is still something fun during the cold winter. |

Renew.
It's so cheap that it's like stealing. I got my property tax bill in the same batch of mail as the renewal. That coincidence eliminated the less than 1 % chance that I had for not renewing.
It's a no brainer for me. I like hockey. Even mediocre hockey. Even bad hockey like the Ducks always played. |

Why turn it into a Ducks/Clones argument? The Ducks played good hockey, so do the Cyclones now. So did the Stingers, CHL Stingers, Mohawks, Tigers, Wings, Swords, Original ECHL Clones, IHL Clones etc.
I'm just glad there's a pro hockey team in Cincinnati that you can renew season tickets for.
Any Cincinnati hockey is good hockey.
I will agree with you on something though Joey, it is so cheap that it's a steal. Not a bad deal on any of the packages at all. |

Ronnie girl,
The Ducks stunk most of their years here from a competitive standpoint and they couldn't score goals. Those are the facts. I enjoyed them nonetheless.
Apparently you're on this site trolling for your KI man hero donnie.
Good grief. Go away. |

Wow. Relax dude. Didn't realize you were speaking about the duck's on ice performance and the original post you made didn't make it seem like you "enjoyed them nontheless," I was just saying that any hockey is good. Even in a year like this when the clones aren't performing as well they had in the previous Kelly Cup years, it's good to see pro hockey in Cincinnati. |

Although the Ducks didn't have many winning seasons, they provided local hockey fans with an opportunity to see some great young talent; players that have gone on to become regulars in the National Hockey League -- important players for their teams and key members of Stanley Cup-winning teams. Chris Kunitz, Andy McDonald, Dustin Penner, Pierre Parenteau, Tim Brent, Ryan Getzlaf, Zenon Konopka, Corey Perry, Tomas Kopecky, Joffrey Lupul, Matt Cullen, Sean Avery, Samuel Pahlsson, Kurtis Foster, Ruslan Salei, Sheldon Brookbank, Ilya Bryzgalov, Chris Mason and Jean-Sebastien Giguere form a pretty good group of current NHLers that played in Cincinnati.
Had the Ducks been able to keep players like Cullen in 1997-98 and Giguere in 2000-01, they might have won a Calder Cup or two. At the minor pro level, sometimes you're only one or two players away from being a Cup contender or a sub .500 team. Case in point: the Cyclones had the second-worst record in the IHL in 1992-93 before Paul Lawless joined the team. They went on to post the league's second-best record over the final 29 games of the season with him in the lineup.
Brent, by the way, battled through injuries early in his career and is having a solid season in Toronto in his first full season in the NHL. He had a two-goal, three-point game a couple weeks ago and another goal last night giving him seven on the season. He kills penalties and takes important faceoffs for the Leafs.
At least you're going to renew your season tickets. A last-place team is better than no team. The only way to ensure the Cyclones are here for the long haul is to support them while you have the chance.

If Joe hasn't grown up by now, he's never going to. Go back and look at the discussions on this board when he's been an active member versus the periods when he's not been able to post due to being banned. If you were to do that, you'd be able to see where the problem has been, is now and will always be on this board.
Joe chose to turn a question about renewing your season tickets into a Cyclones/Ducks argument. Joe chose to refer to a poster as Ronnie Girl. Why? What did Gordon Bombay do to Joe to warrant that reference?
If there's a Cyclones fan out there that could get Joe to act his age you wouldn't see all the petty arguments that take place on this board. |

My bad cloneinator, I took HRC's comment out of context. Didn't mean to derail the thread. Sorry. |

| We are renewing no matter what (kinda hope some around me don't!). So far, four seasons in a row they have made the playoffs, 2 championships (didn't think they had a chance last year) and should make playoffs this year. Like above posts said, I rather see some hockey than no hockey. |

| I will renew my full season tickets. I agree that a mediocre team is better than no team at all,so they'll get my $360 each season as long as I live here. I just hope the team's home ice performance in upcoming years isn't as frustrating as this season. |
