| We have been season ticket holders in the past, but last couple of years our younger girls just couldn't make it through a whole game without anoying folks around us. Next year the girls will be 4 and 5 and have showed us huge improvements to where the oldest is showing a desire to participate in ballet, gymnastics and now ICE HOCKEY. We'll be on board next year. |

A couple of my biggest reasons for going from 24 to 12 games (this season not withstanding) is its a 30 mile drive one way and when you add parking it is a $20.00 night right off the bat. The season ticket holder exchange window is pretty much a joke, and I can literally walk around the building and buy tickets faster than wait in the ridiculous line. Financials are a lot tighter for me right now too.
I will probably go with three tickets instead of two like I did this year, and I will continue to do my four or five group nights a year. |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |

If I may suggest - parking at Sawyer Point a block or two away is typically $5.00 on weekend nights when there's a game and $3.00 during the weekday - if they even staff someone there. A lot of times for Clones weekday games, they don't have anybody there and the parking is free. There's a guard in the lot who patrols the park so it's not a bad area at all to leave you car so long as you don't mind the brief walk. When the Reds and Clones season overlaps the parking goes up, but not anywhere close to $20.00. Even for Reds games I was paying $5.00 to park there most of the time if I didn't ride my bike down from my apartment.
Also, you can park on the street in the city for free so long as it's after 6:00 PM.
Just a heads up if you're interested in saving some parking money. |

Thank you Gordon. I was aware of that but others may not be.
When I go down without the family that is where I park. When I have the family I have to park in the upper level of the garage due to a health issue within the family. The $20.00 I am referring to is also gas (15 MPG at 60 miles round trip = 4 gallons at $3.00 a gallon). Depending on paying $5.00 or $10.00 for parking is where I come up with the $20.00 average. I wasn't even including Reds games parking increases.
We also try to keep costs down by avoiding the concessions or keeping it to a bare minimum. |

^Ah ok, gotcha Cloneinator. I certainly here where you're coming from with the costs. Especially with gas in the mix, it all adds up quick and concession prices at the arena are pretty bad.
At least they have RC Cola now though. |

Shhhhh...Don't give me away SCUBA! I can't have EVERYONE knowing my secrets! Nah, the Clone-mobile actually does pretty good at 15 MPG. Of course the "cyclons" vanity plates and the custom Cyclones tire cover add up too but that is on me... |
