Found this video of David scoring a nifty redirect goal for the Canadiens. The puck was about 10 inches off the ice and he got the blade of the stick on it and got it past Ryan Miller. The announcer commented on how he was the smallest guy on the ice. He has 11 points in 18 games so far this season. Not bad for a guy who ("the only way he will get to see a Canadiens game is to buy a ticket")!
DD's assist vs. Buffalo last night looked like it was USBA 2008. The left defenceman got flat-footed and DD blew past him inside, carried the puck until the last possible second and fed a perfect goal mouth pass to Pouliot who directed it home.

That's three straight games where DD has fed a scoring pass to Pouliot.
Pouliot was the 4rth overall pick of the 2005 draft. His drafting team (Minnesota) gave up on him and traded him to the Canadiens for Guillaume Latendresse (former Cyclone Olivier's brother).
Wouldn't it be ironic if the undrafted DD was the significant force behind a washed out first round pick's turnaround?
DD now has 2 goals and 5 assists in his last 4 games.
He also was the LEADOFF shooter in the shoot out last night in Buffalo. He scored.
