He got the job done tonight.
Not bad for a surprise start. He doesn't have to be great, just keep us in the game, which is what he did tonight ...and we got two points which we needed big time! |

| Houle has the flu, thus Kyle started and Lee Landsdowne was added as an EBUG. Coach Weber told me before the game that several players on both teams were ill. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Judging by the way he looked each time he got back to the bench, Sgroi must have had it too. |

No Mike, he always looks like that. |

Sgroi didn't have the flu. It was a bad steroid mix.
We won with our 'C' team. Still, 2 points is 2 points.
I hope this flu is of the 24 hour variety given that we play again Tuesday. |

| I agree that Juice did keep us in the game. I'm still concerned that he has not developed using the glove to catch a flying puck again. |

With everyone having the flu at the same time, I hope they aren't all sharing the same drinking glass at the local pub.... That or during the Friday night fights they all exchanged some blood and sweat, and contaminated each other. God knows what kind of diseases those nasty Johnstown boys carry around! |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |

Coach Weber told me before the game that he had 8 healthy players and that was it. I was wondering why only one goalie was dressed. I think Houle was a game time decision B/C I seen that Loic was in the hallway in shorts and a T-shirt (looks like he was ready to gear up)and then with 3 minutes left in warm ups Weber and Stork told Lee to get in back and gear up. And for J-Town most of them was the same way from what Gally said. A lot of puking during intermissions. lol |

while the game wasn't the prettiest to watch i think it shows the kind of team that we have this year. i've got a love/hate thing going on with juice. one game he's solid and looks like he's starting to get it, the next..we'll you know. last night with a sick, patched together line up he stepped up and got it done...i can't seem to remember one of the j-town goals, but 1 came right after he stood on his head as a puck bounced around in front of him in 2nd. we failed to clear the puck and j-town got to a man right in the slot....you have to clear that puck, even if it's icing, to give the goalie a few seconds to regroup...that goes for any goalie. the third goal (i think) came at the end of the donny grover BS double minor...kyle may have over played the angle slightly but from where i sit (right behind him) he made the right call..the j-town player made a hell of a shot and put it in the only place kyle left him...and there wasn't much to hit.
all and all i think the boys showed their resiliency...granted j-town was sick too, but it was our biys that stepped up. when i heard everyone was sick, the game went pretty much as i expected. we gave it everything in the 1st and got the 3 goal lead...kyle came up big. from there we sat back, bottled up the neutral zone and made j-town expend the energy. if/when they did, we would have the better legs for the remainder of the game. |

| Let me just say this. The ECHL is seen as a developmental league by many NHL teams which is why many of their prospects are here. Not all NHL prospects are good, so they get sent down here and they try to learn. So you can get mad at Kyle or you can get mad at the NHL organizations that send him here, but from what I saw in the first few games, I'd say he is developing greatly. |

I think you're right xclonejacx, it's just kind of scary when he's in goal. He did do pretty good last night. |

| He seemed to be working on rebounds. He gave up far fewer this time in goal then the last time I saw him. |
