As some of you may have noticed (or maybe not) the WRONG Player is listed for scoring the "LAST" goal in last nights game (1/28/09). Killpatrick actually scored BOTH FIRST and LAST goals so those that picked Killpatrick (4 people) was shorted 486 points. Which also means those that picked Gordon (3 people) was mistakenly awarded 720 points. The unfortunate thing is, once the game is updated, all the prior settings are RESET for the upcoming game. So I have NO IDEA who the 4 people that picked Killpatrick and the 3 people that picked Gordon!
So... how to handle this? A couple options.. 1) Just leave things AS IS, and proceed; 2) IF you picked Killpatrick or Gordon for the 1/28/09 game, respond here and IF I get a correct number of replies (4 for Killpatrick, 3 for Gordon), I can adjust those peoples points. (The problem is everyone would need to trust all those that SAY they picked Killpatrick or Gordon.)
This issue is ALL MY FAULT.. I must have been looking in the wrong column when verifing the goals. The unfortunate thing is that it was so close to the season start when I wrote this game that I didn't think of what happens in this situation.
I appologize to all that are playing for my SCREW UP! (And by the way.. I had picked VanGuilder)

I am like Heckler. Not only have I not recently picked the right player to get points. I missed picking the wrong player at the right time to wrongly get point. LOL
Despite this very small bump in the road I want to thank you Jim for all the time you have spent creating and managing this game and the whole dang board. |
